Question

Risk Management

I would like to use slido for the following activities:

  • Risk management:  participants to rate the likelihood and impact of certain risks, resulting in a graphic of results for discussion on a 5x5 matrix. Is this something that can be done, or would I need to create a poll and ask them to rate likelihood and impact at the same time (ie, have 25 options for them to pick from)?

  • Risk Appetite Statements: participants to rate their appetite on different risk categories, resulting in a graphic of results on a sliding scale?

Has anyone use slido for these reasons?  Would love some advice or ideas on how best to achieve this?

Hey @rholding,

That’s an interesting use case! We don’t have a poll that would produce a matrix at the moment, but there are some workarounds.

You could use a ranking poll and ask participants to rank risks in terms of likelihood or you could create a survey with one rating poll for each risk and ask participants to rate each risk individually. You could then do the same thing with rating impact and with risk appetite statements.

Just keep in mind that if you decide to run individual rating polls, their results will not add up automatically but you can export the results and add them up yourself in the Excel sheet.

Hope this helps! :)
