I can create a multiple-answer Word Cloud poll, but within a Survey, the multiple-choice option seems to disappear. Is there a way to allow multiple Word Cloud answers within a Survey?

Hi! Is there an option to select multiple correct options in a quiz but if the participant chooses any option the answer will be correct? I currently just know how to make them all required for the question to be correct. Thank you!

Originally using the free version of slido, now there is a need to upgrade to engage. If I purchase a one-time plan for engage, can I upgrade the old event directly, or is it limited to a new event? thanks

Hi there, I noticed you are scrapping Slido Switcher, so I have a question regarding the integrated Powerpoint for Slido, which I’ve not really used.I have a Mac and prepare all slides using the Powerpoint app. I have the Slido integration for that, so I’m happy to prepare slides that way.However, before our events, we are often advised to send the slides to the venue, and run the slides using the venue’s laptop (usually a PC). My question is, will Slido work for me, using the integration on a new device, having prepared slides as above. Do I need to download the integration tool on the venue’s Powerpoint app for it to work {which I often cannot do, as there’s IT admins involved in downloading new things to a laptop and the laptop will not belong to me)?Thanks,

Hi, Can you confirm if there is a limit to how many people can interact with a slido poll?  For example: if 900 people scan the qr code and interact in the poll, will all 900 people be able to do this or is there a user cap? thanks. 

Is there a way that we can track participant names when they enter their answers in polls? Thanks. 

When using Slido for Q & A in the updated Suite platform for Webex Webinars, we have noticed if the “chat” is enabled for the webinar as soon as the participant goes to the chat, Slido disappears.  We have tried closing and re-launching the Slido, but it never comes back for the attendee.  Any ideas ??

How can I import questions and answers from Microsoft Word into Slido?

We love using Slido for online learning with school children. However the word cloud feature has been problematic as we can’t find a moderation option before an answer appears on the screen.Is there anything that can be done to help with this? Our young people may not submit profanities, but they may type in silly things. Once one silly answer appears on the screen it diminishes the quality of Slido. We can use Q/A which does have moderation, but we really like the functionality of the word cloud for single word answers.  Thanks! 

Is there a maximum number of responses allowed for a poll? (In total, not per user.)  I’m running an event for a large org with over 30,000 users and want to ensure that all poll responses will be captured. 

I know, I know- a timer can’t be added. But has anyone figured out a work-around? there will be a first after all. 

Is there a way to turn off the “voting” on questions … where participants give a question a thumbs up or down and that changes then the order of questions showing. We would like a session where moderator has full control over what questions get answered, without regards to number of thumbs up or down. Thanks! 

I’ve seen responses from moderators that word clouds have a 50 word limit to be shown on a screen, but the answers are from a couple of years ago. I wanted to know if this limit still applies.  Our intention is to ask around 1,000 participants to provide 1 single word, should we switch from a word cloud to an open text poll to be able to see the answers from all the participants?  thanks

Hi everyone, we’ve just started using slido and I’m struggling to make it work the way our previous poll tool did.We use polls to track our shared computer systems, each person votes on a IP and others can see which user is also using that system and can contact them to prevent data destruction or interference.I’ve gotten Slido to display the poll but users cannot see who has voted on which IP.  They just see a number.  I think this works in reports but I can’t generate 50 reports every day for everyone.Is there a way to guarantee users can see other user names and what they voted on?

How to deactivate a slido poll after an event? Our poll is still showing as active, but we need to freeze the results. This seems like it should be a no-brainer, as it should be easy enough to provide the option to select a button  to activate and deactivate a poll, question, etc.

I have set up a survey for only Participants with a specified email address. Is it possible to receive an automatic email from Slido that lets me know that the specified Participant has completed my survey?  This would same me time checking that they have completed the survey.

How can I predefine the suggested list of phrases for the Word Cloud poll type?For example, I want to ask the audience to tell me the names of brands they use to gather logs.And I already provided them a short list of most popular ones like:ElasticSearch, Grafana Loki, StatsD, Datadog, New Relic.So, via the poll I want the audience to not only choose brands that they use now, but also type new brands that are not listed yet.So the “Multiple Choice” poll type doesn’t suit because they can’t add new options there.The “Word Cloud” poll suite more, but I can’t predefine the list of suggested options, so people will type something like “Elastic” + “ElasticSearch” + “Elastic Search” + “Elastic Stack” + “ELK” and we will got a lot of duplicates. So, could you please extend the “Word Cloud” poll configuration to allow adding predefined suggested options, with keeping the ability to add new custom strings?

Is there a way to separate poll results by a previous question or demographics? For example, can we ask for participants to select their gender in the first question and then sort the remaining answers by gender?Thanks

Hey Slido Community,I am putting together a training presentation and was hoping to include the word cloud question.I love that they display the answers and as the more popular repeated answers/key words get mentioned they grow in size. However, is there a function that allows us to approve/vet the answers before they appear on the word cloud? Our higher ups voiced concerns about the possibility of people entering whatever they want (disparaging, abusive and or harassing comments)  Thank you.A

Hello,I’m new to Slido and have held two in-person events where I ran into the same problem. I added the QR code to my paper agendas, as well as my welcome slide in PowerPoint, urging attendees to answer the first question as they got settled in their seats. Throughout my morning prep time, I noticed the first question seemed to “time out” or go inactive. I made sure I engaged/activated the question about 30 minutes prior to the event start time but had to do that several times. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

If I’m holding 5 separate in-person meetings at the same time and moderators want to utilize slido, is it possible to create and run 5 different events, each with unique polls, at the same time?
