Question

Identity of respondents to a multiple choice question in PowerPoint

I am using Slido embedded in PowerPoint to ask a class to answer multiple choice questions. I have been very successful in creating the questions, enabling to students to answer, and to provide the aggregated results to the class. This arrangement is not capturing the identity of the individual respondents for each question. To keep track of their participation and performance, I would like to be able to capture and record the identify of the students for each question. Is this possible? I have searched the Slido website for an answer without much success.

Hey Bill!

Patrik’s here from Slido.

That is indeed possible, and it is achievable in a few different ways. In your case, I’d recommend to ask for their name in one of the polls, and then you can take a look and match those to answers to answers from other polls in an export.

Or you can just ask them when they’re joining, and set participants privacy to always require name.

Hope this helps! If you’d need anything else, please let us know either here, or via email to support@slido.com. We also have a live chat, feel free to try that as well on slido.com :)

Have a great day!
