Can I conduct an “open text” survey and then have the results of the survey evaluated by the participants? 

Hi, I know you can set slido to ask the name or email before giving access to the delegates etc, but can you specify what that question is? I.e. we want to know which firm a delegate is from out of 5 options, but still allow them to be anonymous if they don’t want to provide their name or email.

Last June, we had a hybrid event, and used Slido for voting. We restricted voting to particular delegates, and input their email addresses. We had a very frustrating experience, as voters were asked to authenticate through their email every time another poll question was asked. We don’t understand why this happened, and how we can prevent it if we decide to use Slido again. 

We have members and non-members at our events. Is there way to automatically identify audience questions that come from a member? (so that we can answer it preferentially…)Nick

Hi, I have been invited as co-host to a Slido event, which now I can access form the link provided in the invitation. However, when I launch the presentation linked to it, it still says I am not allowed to access Slido even if I am logged in with the right user.What could be the problem?Thanks in advance

Hi, can i move an existing interaction to a room?

I use the present mode to display incoming questions to a moderator on a laptop. The laptop serves only as a screen and cannot be operated by the moderator. A team editor selects and highlights the questions during the live broadcast.When a poll is started, the Present mode on the laptop immediately switches as well, indicating that a poll is in progress.How can I prevent this? Which parameter can I append to the URL to ensure that questions are still displayed despite an ongoing poll, e.g.:https://wall.sli.do/event/123456?mode=showpollshttps://wall.sli.do/event/123456?mode=showquestion

I am trying to test my slido presentation and only one slido is presenting. How do i get all slidos to be functional and active?

Hey everyone,My sales team has a strong feeling that using Slido for Q&A at our in-person events might be doing more harm than good for audience engagement.They've noticed that when we ask attendees to submit questions via a QR code before or during a Q&A, people seem less likely to just raise their hand and jump into a live discussion. It feels like it's stifling the organic, spontaneous conversations that naturally emerge when someone verbalizes a question.Are any of you experiencing this too? Do you find that digital Q&A tools reduce the natural flow of discussion in the room?If so, how do you work around it? I am running an event and have integrated Slido into my Powerpoint presentation.  When it gets to the Q&A I want to have an admin person control which questions are visibile from a separate iPad.  They won’t be controling the show just moderating which questions get displayed.  Is that doable?

I would like to use Metimente in a survey for academic research.I am not sure if it will work as expected.We need to ask questions at two points during a presentation. Although the answers are anonymous, we need to be sure that the answers at point 1 and point 2 are from the same respondent.Is there any way to release the full version so we can test the survey mode?I await your response.Thank you in advance.

Howdy, I have just paid for the one time plan for 7 days as I have a one-day event to use it on the 27th of Nov. I don’t need it to start until the 24th of November (to test it out for the 27th) but I’ve paid for it today. Can I please pause the upgrade until the 24th? Thanks 

We have about 100 participants but they all use the same tablet. But after one user has done the survey, the next one starts at the end of the survey so i guess it’s still the first user.I want to be able to do the same survey on the same tablet over and over again .I wrote a vb.net program where the user logs in and then he can open the survey in a browser window .After he’s finished the next user logs into the program and so on.The user on the laptop itself stays the same .How can i solve this?

Hello, does anyone know if it’s possible to add an auto pop up prompt question (e.g. let us know you’re here and join the trivia) right before trivia/quiz questions are activated that employees have to acknowledge?Additionally, does anyone use Slido for in-person event check ins? Hello - I checked in on my poll midway through its timeframe (Nov 28 - Dec 5) and saw 44 responses. It was a post-event survey. When I went today to access the data, it’s gone. Where is it?  

Dear Slido Support,I have created a quiz for my church congregation for the second week of the Great Lent. It consists of seven questions—one for each day’s Gospel reading—with four answer choices, including one correct answer.I activated the quiz but realized I need to manually run it. Is there a way to keep the quiz open so that anyone can click the link, answer the questions, and receive their results automatically, without my intervention? Ideally, it would function like a poll, allowing participants to take it at their convenience as a spiritual break.Please let me know if this is possible and how to set it up. We were testing our event and noticed that android users were having trouble participating during the quiz. Is there anyone who has had the same issue and is there anything we can do to prevent this from happening? 

I would like to ask about participating in voting using phones outside my organization with Slido in PowerPoint. Today, I ran a rehearsal of my Slido Quiz integrated into PowerPoint, and it turned out that only participants who can log in with my company credentials can participate in the quiz. Is it possible to change this setting to allow other participants who cannot log in with my company credentials to participate in the quiz?

I run my Slido polls in WebEx and would like to know:  If I have a Survey of, say 12 multiple choice questions - how can I show the results of all the questions at once? This was standard in WebEx, but now I’m having to show the results one by one and it takes up more time than necessary.  If there is a way of just showing all the results at once, it would be so much less hassle.
