Hi,
We want to use Slido at an event where the event provides the computer for presentation. Will the polls still work even though the account is not on that computer?

Thanks

Hey @YaelS ,

Your Slido account can be accessible with internet connection and the approved compatible browsers.

As long as you login to your Slido account on the computer you will have access to your event. If you are using PPT integration or GSI you will need to be sure that the machine you’re presenting from has the add-on downloaded to be able to use the presentation.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

Best,

Thanks for the answer. I have a related question:

At our company it is usually the case that the person who creates/ prepares google slides for our webinars and adds a slido poll to it, is not the same person who presents the webinar at the end. So its two different accounts.
The presenter installed the google slides addon and is logged on. The one who created the poll invited the presenter, who is now listed under sharing settings in the slido sidebar. But he can still not see the live poll on the slide while presenting. Why not? Have we missed something or is this simply not possible?

Thanks

Hey @elena.late ,

Could you double check that the Google Slides/Slido event was sent to the correct person that should have access? As long as the presenter is invited as a Guest Collaborator to the event in the Google Slide deck and is logged into their Slido account that has the access, they should see the Slido interaction slides.

If you are still having troubles, please reach out to support@slido.com so we can take a look at the accounts and event access to be sure everything is working properly from our end.

Best,
