Microsoft Teams Integration - Mandatory login for participants

Hi there, 

We have integrated Slido with Microsoft Teams and have tried it several times during meetings successfully. As of recent, we see that participants see the login page instead of the Slido Poll and Q&A page (see below).

 

Could you advice us on how to disable this or how to unsure that participants do not have to login while using slido on Microsoft Teams? Thank you!

Really sorry for the late reply! We are now investigating this with our developers.

Participants should not have to log in so this is quite strange. Does this happen when you use the desktop MS Teams app or the web app? And is it happening with all of your events or just some?

I’m having the same issue. My participants are using desktop MS Teams App & it happening with all my events. It work once when i sign up last week but now my participants are asking me do they need an account to access the slido in Teams.

Have you maybe enabled Google SSO authentication for participants?

I don’t think so. I’m also using the free version of Slido

Could you try following the steps to integrate slido with Microsoft teams?

Hi, 

I am integrating Slido in our website via iframe.If a user is logged in at the website, is there a way to pass this info from the website to Slido, so that it doesn't ask this user to register to ask a question or fill out a survey?

You may find creating Single Sign On for your participants useful, depending on your set up.
