Multiple occurrences of Slido App in recurring Microsoft Teams meeting

I have ended up with multiple occurances of the slido app in a recurring teams meeting that is causing confusion for participants as you can see 3 Slido buttons in the meeting view. 

 

How can I remove the unrequired slido tabs without having to reset the meeting up and starting fresh?  I tried to uninstall the app and reinstalled and it add all 3 back in again...

Hi @VictoriaH , sorry for the inconvenience. At the moment, Microsoft Teams only allows to remove apps from the Meeting Chat, not Meeting Options.
 

  1. Go to Chat
  2. Choose the meeting you'd like to remove Slido from
  3. Find the Slido event at the top bar you'd like to remove
  4. Right-click to remove it

What if you don’t even get this option as you try the right click?

I had exactly the same issue. and looks like you need to go to find the meeting from Chat list and remove it. If you go from the Calendar, then right click doesn’t work.

Hi @quintaum,

As @Ruowei rightly pointed out, you have to go through the Chat list and find the specific Teams meeting there to see the option to remove the old Slido instances. Please refer to the screenshot my colleague @Martin shared above for easier navigation within Teams.
