Slido for PowerPoint

Hi Community, I have recently downloaded the Slido plugin for Power Point. I cannot seem to get Ideas to work in Power Point, can anyone confirm if they are using this please and if so what I am required to do to enable. I am running a workshop where I plan to ask the audience for a list of ideas and then rank their priority, using upload and down vote features. I do not wish to use a predefined lists of responses for voting against. Many thanks Question1234

Hey,I first tryed the free membership on SLIDO. In this free membership I created some polls in powerpoint.Some days later I got to know, that my organization (Heilbronn university, Germany) has an organizational account.So now I need to know how to transfer the existing polls in powerpoint (pptx) from one account (organization) to another account (organization).Thanks a lotWolfgang 

Slido for Windows v1.15.0.6311 (Support ID 01026386) 3-18-25 This morning I had to reload and log in differently for SLIDO.   Now the Slido Log in does not appear in Power point.   Under Add Ins it shows as loaded and working. 

I tried downloading the integration for powerpoint and got the following error message:I called my IT team and they said that I should reach out to you all because this is a software issue. Can someone help me with this?Thanks so much,Wendy

Hello, I would just like to get clarity on my situation. I am currently using the free plan, and invited others to do so, too, as a way to engage participants. They have already created their own slidos using their accounts, and I only requested access for me to help manage them. My question is, if I purchase Engage plan, will I be able to export data from their slidos? Thank you!

I keep trying to hide results on my polls, but it switches off when I move to the next question.  

We have a multi-day event coming up. We are using a single, consolidated PowerPoint slide deck that will be used by all speakers. Several of the speakers have asked for their own Slido Q&A Session. Using the PowerPoint plugin for Slido I inserted the first of three slidos in the slide deck but when I went to add the next one it told me that by switching to the second slido it affected the one already in place. I tested it by inserting slido #1 on the first slide and then switching to slido #2 and then going back to the the #1 slide. The #1 slide was now pointed at the #2 slido. Is there a way to handle this?

Hello,I try to use Slido with Powerpoint.I created a Survey and I’m wondering if there is a possibility that the survey questions are displayed on screen after I open the slide.The only thing I’m able to show is the title iof the survey.Or do I have to show the slide with the survey questions and run Slido from outside Powerpoint (either with Slido Switch or from the Slido admin) ?RegardsPascal

If I pay for an Engage plan on my Slido Account, will I be able to export data from slidos created by other users if I was given access to them?

Dear Team,I have used slido once before and found its integration into ppt excellent. Now, 7 months later, I want to use slide again, this time with three multiple choice questions and one word cloud, but cannot even chose the multiple choice. I am using the same ppt I had used in spring. Can you tell me, whether I can integrate the above mentioned in the fee plan? Best, Sophie 

I have a Slido Questions (Q&A, Word Cloud, MCQ, Open text Q, Rating) PPT lecture that i used last year in a course. I would like to reuse that PPT lecture this year. I do not know how to clear (remove/delete) the answers from last year. I pressed “reset slido” but that did not delet the answers from last year. Can you please provide step by step instructions on how to reset this PPT so that I do not need to redo this work. For smoother transition between Powerpoint slides and Slido questions, I have found that it is best to set the Transition on your Slido slides, to none rather than fade or anything else.  Otherwise you will see the Slido placeholder first before Slido loads the question webpage because that operation does not occur until the powerpoint transition is complete.

I have created three polls but can only access one of them via powerpoint - any tips?

I created a PowerPoint presentation will my Free Trial, then I purchased the Engage package. Am I able to use the unlimited # of quizzes, word clouds, etc. in the same PowerPoint presentation? How does presentation go from Free Trial to Engage membership?

My sidebar is blank.I’ve tried to uninstall, reboot, reinstall.When I try to repair, I get this error (while it is “Processing: Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8”):I have also updated to SlidoSetup_v1.12.0.5522, tried reinstalling .net 4.8, and my IT said that they don’t have the “Attack surface reduction policy” enabled.Any other suggestions? 

My Slido is no longer visible in my presentation for me to sign in.  How can I fix this? 

Dear Slido Support Team,I am currently using a Slido Pro license via my company account and can access my correct Pro organization without issues when using Slido in the web browser.However, when I log in to the Slido PowerPoint Add-in using my Webex login (same email address as in Slido Web), I consistently receive the following error:"Slido linked to a different organization. To enter this Slido, you need to use a different login method."I have already tried all client-side troubleshooting steps: Full logout in PowerPoint Add-in Clearing cache & cookies for slido.com and webex.com Fully resetting the PowerPoint Add-in Verifying correct organization access in Slido Web This strongly indicates that my Webex OAuth token is currently mapped to a different Slido organization in your backend.

Hello. I want to convert an activity that my learners currently do on flipcharts (in-person) to Slido, but I don’t think it is possible Does anyone have any ideas?I have a flipchart (or physical whiteboard) with  options (m/c) for them to mark how often they do something…. but it has 2 parts so that they see the results of the 2 (similar) questions side by side. We talk about the disconnect based on this. Another use I have is where I (virtual) display a graph (curve) and the participants annotate where they fall along the curve. Can you do this in some way in Slido (so this can be done in person)?Thanks!Daina

Hey there, I created a Slido with multiple questions within it (multi choice, free format, polls etc) and used it live in PowerPoints with attendees of my meeting. It worked perfectly. I want those who weren’t at the meeting to be able to submit their responses to each question too. The session is still open and it says ‘Active now’, but when you click the ‘join Slido’ link it says ‘there are no active polls at the moment’. It looks like I have to ‘start interaction’ for each question, but can’t have multiple interactions going at the same time. So how can I enable those who weren’t on the meeting to submit a response to ALL of the questions within the Slido session? Thanks!  

I have a long quiz slido and I want to know if is possible to split the questions in consecutive powerpoints that belong to one unique training content. So, I want to keep people engaged in the competition through the training and I want to have a unique final leaderboard with the winners and a unique analytics. Is it possible? If the training lasts 3 days, can I have the same slido shared in these powepoints and still run the same competition? Is there some considerations to work like that? Thank you in advance.

Hello there,I am using my account and trying to connect Slido with my powerpoint but I get an error message “No access to this slidoRequest access from the slido owner or switch to an account with access.Request was sent -You'll get an email once the owner approves your request.”I have checked my inbox but no request.Any idea what the issue could be?Thank you.  

I have integrated questions and a poll into PowerPoint. The same PowerPoint will be shown to three different groups of people, one after another. If I reset the slido, will I lose all data or will it be archived somewhere? Or do I need to download data after each session, then reset, to get a fresh slate for the next group of attendees?

Hi Everyone,I’m very new to Slido.I’m working on a ppt where someone else previously created slido’s then deleted them from the ppt.I want to create new slidos within the same ppt but keep getting the message…“This presentation is linked to another Slido accountTo edit existing polls or add new ones, please switch to the Slido account connected to this presentation.”The original person deleted the slido linked to the ppt, so how can I add a new slido using my account?Many thanks for your advice.

Can I set the answer in a bar graph to be different colors in the results?
