Slido for PowerPoint

Hello! Is it possible to lock a poll while presenting using PowerPoint? I would like to capture the initial analytics of the question and prevent my students from changing their responses while we discuss the correct answer. 

Dear Community,I am trying to create a poll in a Powerpoint presentation for work, but there is an exclamation mark by the Slido logo and it says that the presentation is linked to another account. This seems to be a Microsoft ac.uk account I have with a university (where I sit on a committee), but that is not my primary place of work. I am trying to log into Slido with my .ac.uk account so I can log out of it, but it won’t accept my password. I click on ‘forgot password’ but no reset link arrives ( I am checking my spam folder in my Microsoft email account). The Powerpoint is provided for me by my employer on a work laptop, and I can log in and out of Slido at slido.com no problem with my work email (Google), but I cannot shift this association with the Microsoft account or log out of it. I am the cohost of multiple events. I want to consolidate all the slidos into one event. Is there a way to do this other than manually recreating each slide into one event?

I tried downloading the integration for powerpoint and got the following error message:I called my IT team and they said that I should reach out to you all because this is a software issue. Can someone help me with this?Thanks so much,Wendy

In the last few days, I have started getting an error message when I save my PPT files adding a new Slido question or editing an existing question within a presentation. These are presentations that I have been working on, so neither the PPT, nor the Slido portions are new. Everything works as normal until I go to save to save, then I get a message that says “The file is corrupt and cannot be opened.” This prevents me from saving the updated file. As long as I don’t make changes to the Slido, the PPTs work fine and the presentations are working okay.I tried to uninstall and reinstall Slido, but nothing changed. My IT support didn’t have any additional ideas, so I thought I would reach out to other users to see if anyone else has experienced this.Any help would be appreciated!Thanks,Tami

If you wanted to assign a point value for your poll questions or just to a Quiz is there a way to do that so when someone completes a series of questions a percentage out of 100 is received by the presenter?

Hello, I would just like to get clarity on my situation. I am currently using the free plan, and invited others to do so, too, as a way to engage participants. They have already created their own slidos using their accounts, and I only requested access for me to help manage them. My question is, if I purchase Engage plan, will I be able to export data from their slidos? Thank you!

If I pay for an Engage plan on my Slido Account, will I be able to export data from slidos created by other users if I was given access to them?

HelloWe have a large slide deck and have connected Slido to our powerpoint presentation.Some slides have animation so we want Slido to appear in the middle of presenting first part of a slide. Is there a way for Slido to produce a pop up box on the slide rather than add a new slide?Are there any work arounds you could suggest rather than a brand new slide created? 

I have a PowerPoint presentation I am re-tooling.  It had a link from the original author, which I want to eliminate completely and start over.I cannot find how it is still liked as I deleted all of the Slido slides in the deck.Any thoughts?Thank you!

Hello there,Whenever I add a Slido-slide to a ppt, ppt crashes completely and need to restart. The add-in itself works fine in the right bar, I can switch sessions, add/remove/edit interactions as usual, but ppt does not want me to actually add the interaction slide to the presentation and immediately responds with “PowerPoint is not responding” without the option to wait for it to respond, only giving the option to restart. One out of five times, I also get the option to save the presentation before closing, but it is always closing the presentation. Once the slide is in it works flawlessly in presentation mode, but getting the slide in there is an iterative process that can go up towards 20 minutes of constant tries before I am allowed to save the slide to the presentation. I have downloaded the newest version of the ‘Slido ppt add-in’ from the website (4th of June, 2024) and it makes no difference.Any clue of what is going on? I mean.. it works, but it worked

Can you please help if a free or paid version of Slido can help with following (I could not find it help center). We want to run a quiz format and have a leaderboard at end, but some challenges below All questions of our quiz to be shown one by one, but without revealing answers. After participants have responded to all questions, we will open each question, have a discussion on it and identify or choose out the correct answer from the audience discussion itself. Now, in this case, We will only come to know about correct answers after all Qs have been voted for and not at the time of framing the quiz. How can we input / select correct answer in the backend quickly and then reflect on the leaderboard with results, but after quiz polling has taken place?

I would like to manage the poll from slido for power point, but when i put the slide with the poll (word cloud) after a determined time, the presentation goes to the following slides, even though i don’t touch the mouse to switch the slide. how can I handle this and remove this, that looks like a timer?I would like to stay on the slide with the results of the poll also 5 or 10 minutes in order to comment the results and I don’t want to go to the next slides after few seconds. Many thanksSimona

I could not log in to slido through my ppt presentation. What’s needs to be done?

When I login in the Slido sidebar it goes to the webbrowser. I login, and it says You're now logged in!Please open PowerPoint to continue there.But nothing happens in Powerpoint, or the slido sidebar. It keeps saying “Welcome to Slido, login”

I want to convert an activity that my learners currently do on flipcharts (in-person) to Slido, but I don’t think it is possible Does anyone have any ideas?I have a flipchart (or physical whiteboard) with  options (m/c) for them to mark how often they do something…. but it has 2 parts so that they see the results of the 2 (similar) questions side by side. We talk about the disconnect based on this. Another use I have is where I (virtual) display a graph (curve) and the participants annotate where they fall along the curve. Can you do this in some way in Slido (so this can be done in person)?Thanks!Daina

I am running a 1 hour session with 6 speakers. Each will show  their own 10 minute powerpoint presentation. The presentations will not run as a single slide deck. How can I use the same poll (with different questions from each speaker) for all presenters? This way participants in the audience will not not have to keep scanning different codes.
