Slido for PowerPoint

Does Slido work with PowerPoint Live?

Hi, I was wondering if the following is possible, but can’t find anything. I want to run a poll during a presentation. However, once I go to a next slide, I want to keep the question open. I always have 1 “normal” slide and 1 polling slide. Is it possible that users can actually go back, once the new question is automatically displayed, but they want to keep adding their answer(s) to the prior question? Thank you! 

I just installed the latest Slido for PowerPoint add-in update, and it keeps crashing PowerPoint. If I try to open a file with a Slido presentation added, the PowerPoint boot-up window comes up, then disappears and my file never opens. I can successfully open files without a Slido presentation, at which point the file I unsuccessfully tried to open will show up in the autosave alert column on the left. If I then try to open that autosaved file, it once more crashes PowerPoint. I can open all of my files fine if I disable the Slide add-in.I have tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the Slido add-in, and disabling and re-enabling it. I’m on a PC running Windows 10 Education version.

In the last few days, I have started getting an error message when I save my PPT files adding a new Slido question or editing an existing question within a presentation. These are presentations that I have been working on, so neither the PPT, nor the Slido portions are new. Everything works as normal until I go to save to save, then I get a message that says “The file is corrupt and cannot be opened.” This prevents me from saving the updated file. As long as I don’t make changes to the Slido, the PPTs work fine and the presentations are working okay.I tried to uninstall and reinstall Slido, but nothing changed. My IT support didn’t have any additional ideas, so I thought I would reach out to other users to see if anyone else has experienced this.Any help would be appreciated!Thanks,Tami

How to store the results in the PowerPoint once the poll is closed?

I am planning to use Slido for an online training session in PowerPoint.  I have two screens.  My large monitor with my webcam on the top... and my Surface Pro laptop below.  I use presenter mode on the laptop then swap that to my large screen so I can see me notes clearly and have my eyeline near the camera.  The regular slide show for what the participants see remains below on the laptop. All good usually but when I click through to the Slido poll slides the slido presentation only appears in about 2/3rd of the slide.  Anyone know how to rectify this?  I need my presenter notes on the large monitor up top as I can barely see the surface!

Been using slido without problems for a few years. In the last week it keeps telling me I’m offline or logged out when I get to the slido slide in powerpoint presentation. I am neither offline or logged out. Definitely not offline as all other programmes are fine. I’ve tried logging out of slido and logging back in, then sometimes it works, sometimes not. I’ve uninstalled slido for powerpoint and reinstalled, so definitely on latest version.Last night whilst presenting a slidedeck, it looked fine before I started, but when I get to the question, it said on the participants phone that there was no active polls. I had to make do without slido for the presentation.This morning I have started a new slido from scratch (rather than duplicate) but it is still doing it. I have another session this evening and I need this to work or I’ll quickly have to set up a mentimeter.Any help gratefully recieved 

I followed steps from video to download add-in. As soon as I open PowerPoint, Slido icon says I’m offline. The error never goes away even if I logout of Slido and back in again. I am most definitely not offline. Has anyone seen this error before? Thanks. 

When I have a slido in my PPT and then present my PPT in a teams meeting, I cannot see the slido QR code or the code to log in. I can only see it if I run the presentation and share my screen. But that means, with presentation notes my 2nd screen is blocked and I can’t see my audience.

I am trying to create a quiz with multiple questions. I am not seeing the “Add another question.” 

We would like to silent install Slido for Powerpoint on macOS and without being prompted for an admin password. We use Jamf to deploy the app, I followed the instructions to silent install, used the command but as soon as the user launches the app, it prompts for admin password. Please let me know if there is a way to suppress it or bypass it. The admin prompt says that ‘Slido wants to make changes. Enter admin password.’

I’ve created a Power Point deck and included three slido slides. I click on the “Present with Slido” button to view the deck as if I was presenting it.The problem...the slido slide font is too big and does not fit in my screen. Is there a way for me to adjust the size of the Slido slide so all contents fit in my screen?  

Hi allI updated Slido for Powerpoint to version to v1.22.0.7725 this morning but it then Slido refused to open at all which was incredibly frustrating as I had an online lecture which used Slido throughout. (Home computer running Windows 10 and Powerpoint then sharing the window in Teams). I had to keep switching to the present mode in a Chrome tab to make use of the features which completely defeats the point of having Slido in the first place.I have uninstalled, reinstalled, tried the admin version with no success. It appears Slido for Windows is not loading up in COM Add-ins and unchecks itself / there is a run time error. I have repaired and reinstalled .NET frameworks. Nothing is working.I have just checked my laptop (Windows 11) and Slido works fine on there but I have declined the update so far. Can I have a link for the previous version whjch I can use on my desktop please?I have never had an issue with Slido not working before and need it as I present frequently as a universit

Slido for Windows v1.14.0.5919 (Support ID 87965dd6) I created a PowerPoint and added my slido, but I had to reset my password and I lost the connection between my account and the PowerPoint. So Slido is not working in the powerpoint deck. Please call me, so I will be able to show you my problem. Thank you in advance Manuela Serrano

Please assist, as I have installed the Slido for PowerPoint, but when opening PowerPoint, I do not have the green Slido option to continue? 

We’re exploring using slido within our company, we do training sessions using powerpoints. We have template powerpoints, multiple people present using the same document. Would this be possible with slido? Also a secondary question, if the template powerpoint features slides that an audience interacts with (Q&A, poll, etc.) how would it be reset to default when the presentation is finished? Would the perosn using the document at the time need to wipe the answers every time?

Hi @Slido Team,I just had the use case for our next Webex Webinar with PowerPoint Integration to come back to the results of a Slido poll which happened at the beginning of the Webinar.Is there a possibility without the need to exit the presentation and check the web interface? 

Tried installing the update today. Now I’m getting two messages with the installer:Sorry We couldn’t install the Add-In! 0x80070643 - Fatal error during installation “The Installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 26352. 

Hello,I created a slide deck with a Slido poll. I plan on hosting multiple meetings on different days and times. Can I use the same slide deck without losing my poll information or do I need to create different decks for each group? 

Hello!I am a new Slido user.  I am looking to integrate a poll with a presentation created by a colleague - when I try and log in from my account it says that the presentation is linked with someone else’s account (my colleague’s).  How do I get it to switch over to using my Slido account? Can I track participants answers by name of participant?  Do I need the professional version to do this?

We’re considering switching from Menti beacuse of your better google slides integration. However, one thing that is holding me back is the open ended question format. Here Menti allows to show much more on one slide:  Maybe this is something you can add/improve on slido?

Hi all,I’m experiencing a problem after an update on the Slido add-in. It asked for an update while I was using PowerPoint and since then it doesn’t show up as add-in icon on Home tab.I tried reinstalling, repairing, also with Slido for Admin but it doesn’t come up and even making changes in registry editor but still nothing. Only thing that I notice is when parameters in registry editor changes, add-in transfers from inactive to active add-ins and becomes active in list of add-ins in PowerPoint. Following, check box is checked when I try to enable Slido but unfortunately there is no luck.Is there any solution that I can try to manage it or I just have to wait for new Slido update?Thank you in advance

Can we add a multiple choice question from Slido and integrate it in Powerpoint and use it offline? 

Is it possible to have the live integrated Slido poll while using Presenter view in Powerpoint? Right now, I can only see the poll go active when I click “present” and it goes straight to Slide Show. Am I missing a step or is this a limitation? Thanks!
