Changing Slido account attached to a PowerPoint presentation

Hello!I am a new Slido user.  I am looking to integrate a poll with a presentation created by a colleague - when I try and log in from my account it says that the presentation is linked with someone else’s account (my colleague’s).  How do I get it to switch over to using my Slido account? Slido for PowerPoint Error: "You appear to be offline. Check your internet connection."

I followed steps from video to download add-in. As soon as I open PowerPoint, Slido icon says I’m offline. The error never goes away even if I logout of Slido and back in again. I am most definitely not offline. Has anyone seen this error before? Thanks.

Showing all quiz results at the end of a lecture

I want to begin each lecture with four questions to ascertain knowledge of the subject matter that the participants may already have. I do not want them to see the results of the quiz at this point. At the end of the lecture, I will give the same quiz again, but after the time is up for the last question, I would like to reveal the results of the first quiz compared with the results of the second quiz.I’m a real newbie and right now I’m trying to figure out how to keep the results from showing even though I have unchecked the “Show Results” box.

Multiple Slido Events In One Slide Deck

We have a multi-day event coming up. We are using a single, consolidated PowerPoint slide deck that will be used by all speakers. Several of the speakers have asked for their own Slido Q&A Session. Using the PowerPoint plugin for Slido I inserted the first of three slidos in the slide deck but when I went to add the next one it told me that by switching to the second slido it affected the one already in place. I tested it by inserting slido #1 on the first slide and then switching to slido #2 and then going back to the the #1 slide. The #1 slide was now pointed at the #2 slido. Is there a way to handle this?

Slido slide is too big for my screen in PowerPoint

I’ve created a Power Point deck and included three slido slides. I click on the “Present with Slido” button to view the deck as if I was presenting it.The problem...the slido slide font is too big and does not fit in my screen. Is there a way for me to adjust the size of the Slido slide so all contents fit in my screen?

PowerPoint - using presenter view - slido not showing correctly

I am planning to use Slido for an online training session in PowerPoint.  I have two screens.  My large monitor with my webcam on the top... and my Surface Pro laptop below.  I use presenter mode on the laptop then swap that to my large screen so I can see me notes clearly and have my eyeline near the camera.  The regular slide show for what the participants see remains below on the laptop. All good usually but when I click through to the Slido poll slides the slido presentation only appears in about 2/3rd of the slide.  Anyone know how to rectify this?  I need my presenter notes on the large monitor up top as I can barely see the surface!

Presentation mode - leave questions open while running to next slide?

Hi, I was wondering if the following is possible, but can’t find anything. I want to run a poll during a presentation. However, once I go to a next slide, I want to keep the question open. I always have 1 “normal” slide and 1 polling slide. Is it possible that users can actually go back, once the new question is automatically displayed, but they want to keep adding their answer(s) to the prior question? Thank you!

Hi @Slido Team,I just had the use case for our next Webex Webinar with PowerPoint Integration to come back to the results of a Slido poll which happened at the beginning of the Webinar.Is there a possibility without the need to exit the presentation and check the web interface?

Slido doesn't show up in PowerPoint

Hi all,I experience problem after update is done on Slido add-in. It asked me to make an update while I was using PowerPoint and since then it doesn’t show up as add-in icon on Home tab.I tried with reinstalling, repairing, also with SlidoforAdmin but it doesn’t come up and even making changes in registry editor but still nothing. Only thing that I notice is when parameters in registry editor changes, add-in transferes from inactive to active add-ins and becomes active in list of add-ins in PowerPoint. Following, check box is checked when I try to enable Slido but unfortunately there is no luck.Is there any solution that I can try to manage it or I just have to wait for new Slido update?Thank you in advance

Can't delete connection to Powerpoint!

Hello  I tested slido a few weeks ago with my private account. Now we have made a business account. But now I always get this message: I must be able to delete this link. I have deleted all surveys and even deleted my account. Nothing has worked.... Re-creating the PowerPoint is out of the question as there are over 100 pages. Thank you for your quick help. Greetings Daniel

Better layout for open ended questions

We’re considering switching from Menti beacuse of your better google slides integration. However, one thing that is holding me back is the open ended question format. Here Menti allows to show much more on one slide:  Maybe this is something you can add/improve on slido?

New Slido for PowerPoint update crashing

I just installed the latest Slido for PowerPoint add-in update, and it keeps crashing PowerPoint. If I try to open a file with a Slido presentation added, the PowerPoint boot-up window comes up, then disappears and my file never opens. I can successfully open files without a Slido presentation, at which point the file I unsuccessfully tried to open will show up in the autosave alert column on the left. If I then try to open that autosaved file, it once more crashes PowerPoint. I can open all of my files fine if I disable the Slide add-in.I have tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the Slido add-in, and disabling and re-enabling it. I’m on a PC running Windows 10 Education version.

Maximum numer of Participants when you use Slido in a powerpoint

Hi,I have a webex license that support slido and I’ve been using slido many times succesfully.Next month I need to run a session with hundreds of people connected; we are using slido from powerpoint and NOT in a webex session. My question: what is the maximum number of participants for slido polls when you use it from powerpoint (my license is a webex one)?

Integration with Powerpoint not working

We have download and installed the Slido 1.10 version but was not showing in the Power point. We have reinstalled the same but still no luck. Restarted the device and updated the MS Office. Have checked in System tray and PP add-ins and Disabled but nothing there.

Transfer from one account to another

Hey,I first tryed the free membership on SLIDO. In this free membership I created some polls in powerpoint.Some days later I got to know, that my organization (Heilbronn university, Germany) has an organizational account.So now I need to know how to transfer the existing polls in powerpoint (pptx) from one account (organization) to another account (organization).Thanks a lotWolfgang

Powerpoint crashes when importing Slido-slide

Hello there,Whenever I add a Slido-slide to a ppt, ppt crashes completely and need to restart. The add-in itself works fine in the right bar, I can switch sessions, add/remove/edit interactions as usual, but ppt does not want me to actually add the interaction slide to the presentation and immediately responds with “PowerPoint is not responding” without the option to wait for it to respond, only giving the option to restart. One out of five times, I also get the option to save the presentation before closing, but it is always closing the presentation. Once the slide is in it works flawlessly in presentation mode, but getting the slide in there is an iterative process that can go up towards 20 minutes of constant tries before I am allowed to save the slide to the presentation. I have downloaded the newest version of the ‘Slido ppt add-in’ from the website (4th of June, 2024) and it makes no difference.Any clue of what is going on? I mean.. it works, but it worked as intended previously

Issues with Slido for PowerPoint. The presentations suddenly stopped opening

My presentations with Slido are suddenly having problems. They open but when launched, Powerpoint closes again. Up until yesterday, everything was working fine. Then today, nothing. I get a txt file called debug log in the folder where the presentation is located. When I open it, this message appears: [0911/163749.606:WARNING:main_runner.cc(261)] Alloy bootstrap is deprecated and will be removed in ~M127. See https://github.com/chromiumembedded/cef/issues/3685When the PPT presentation fails to launch, I am asked if I want to open PPT in safe mode. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and what might be an adequate solution?
