Hi all,

I’m having some problems with the initial setting of SLIDO. Meetings on which i would like to apply SLIDO are all set from a general account in outlook (Teams group). It looks like that when me or my colleague is adding SLIDO we cannot log into SLIDO during the meeting, instead the guests for the session access SLIDO and use the Q&A. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Thanks in advance for the support

Hey @Egidio Perrella ,

Thanks for sharing your issues. Could you please share a screen recording or screenshots of whats happening?

Could you also follow the directions from this article and let us know if you’re able to use Slido?

If you’re still experiencing issues, please reach out to support@slido.com or use the chat feature so we can troubleshoot a bit easier.

Hi Carly,

Thanks a lot for your feedback.

I have few screenshot of the problem I’m having.

Let me know please if you can track back the problem.

Thanks in advance for your support.

Hey @Egidio Perrella ,

Thanks for sharing these screenshots.

Can you please confirm that you’re able to log into Slido and create a new Slido or choose an existing one from your list? After you choose or create the Slido, is this when you get the errors?

All the steps you are taking up to the error would be helpful for us to confirm.

Best,

Hi Carly , thanks for your support and apologies for late reply. Yes i can log in in my slido account and i can create one. It looks like I’m at the moment, the only one experiencing this problem, as the rest of the organization can actually use Slido as guest but i cannot because if I’m in the meeting and i click the slido icon, slido is requesting me automatically to log in and once i add my log in details it gives me an error. Therefore, I cannot use it as guest either. Any ideas why this is happening?

Thank you @Egidio Perrella ,

I am checking with the team on this.

Could you clarify when you mean “use it as a guest” that you mean a participant (responding to the Polls and asking questions), or a guest (collaborator that will help to activate polls and Q&A for participants)?

Best,

Hi Carly,  Yes i confirm that as guest i mean participant. I cannot do either participant or guest. Thanks for your help!

Hey @Egidio Perrella ,

It seems that someone else (from your teams org) has added Slido before to that meeting and paired an event.

Also, because you are the owner and only member of your account in Slido, it seems that they all (your participants) created their own account in Slido.

Can we confirm that someone did pair Slido to that meeting before you? In that case you will not be able to open host mode because you are not part of the same org in Slido. You will need to remove Slido app from the meeting and add it again, then you should be able to pair his own Slido.

Let us know if this helps.

Best,
