Slido is gradually rolling out a new user interface. If the below steps and visuals match what you are seeing within your account, then you are using the new interface and this article is for you. If not, please see this version.
We created Slido Labs to give you the opportunity to test some of our experimental features in advance. We’d love to hear your feedback on them so we can give you the best experience possible.
Remember that all experimental features on this page may change or be deprecated at any time.

Experiment: Recent questions by default
Using this feature, participants view all incoming questions chronologically by default – meaning the most recent question will always show on top. As a result, participants are not biased by seeing the top voted questions first, and new questions can be given more attention.
However, participants can always switch to displaying the questions in order of popularity.
Experiment: Question withdrawal
This feature allows your audience to withdraw their questions anytime during the Q&A. Question withdrawal is automatically enabled when you create a slido.
Experiment: Separate score for Q&A downvotes
Upvotes and downvotes are displayed as a cumulative score by default. However with Slido Labs, you can choose to show downvotes separately in Participant mode.
Note that this only affects Participant mode. Present mode will always only display the cumulative score (upvotes minus downvotes).
Experiment: Similar question detection
This allows participants to see if someone has already asked a question similar to theirs. Whenever a participant types a question that is identical to another questions in the Q&A, they will get a suggestion from Slido. The participant can then upvote the existing question or continue to type their own.
