I have a little pickle. I once participated in a slido open text poll, where people could submit questions, and after the poll ended, organizers turned on voting - people could vote on the questions they want answered by the organizers. How can I do that?

Slido does not have a functionality that would be able to do this for you automatically.
Either you can collect these, and copy them one by one from answers to your open text poll into a different kind of a poll (ranking poll or multiple choice poll for an example) and let participant vote on those.
Or you can just turn the Q&A on, let people ask questions, and use upvotes (likes) as voting.
