Webinar recording: Best Practices for Truly Inclusive Meetings

This week, we hosted a webinar on meeting equity and inclusive meeting design with our special guest speaker, internationally renowned facilitator Leanne Hughes. 

Leanne shared her insights on creating inclusive meetings that foster collaboration and ignite innovation.

Here are some highlights:

We focused on meeting equity and inclusion and how these two factors play a great role in company culture, and have a real business and economic impact. 

Then, our guest speaker - Leanne Hughes introduced her approach to inclusive meetings and presented her tried and tested framework - SPARK - that provides an easy framework to structure and prepare any meeting. 

We then looked into how we can take Leanne’s framework and make meetings more inclusive using Slido. 

1. Before your meetings, try collecting inputs using polls and consider opening the Q&A in advance.
2. During your meetings, use Slido to collaborate on decision making with polls, run an inclusive Q&A by allowing anonymous questions and answer left over questions in a document after your meeting.
3. Towards the end of your meetings, run an anonymous feedback survey.
