We focused on meeting equity and inclusion and how these two factors play a great role in company culture, and have a real business and economic impact.
Then, our guest speaker - Leanne Hughes introduced her approach to inclusive meetings and presented her tried and tested framework - SPARK - that provides an easy framework to structure and prepare any meeting.
We then looked into how we can take Leanne’s framework and make meetings more inclusive using Slido.
- Before your meetings, try collecting inputs using polls and consider opening the Q&A in advance.
- During your meetings, use Slido to collaborate on decision making with polls, run an inclusive Q&A by allowing anonymous questions and answer left over questions in a document after your meeting.
- Towards the end of your meetings, run an anonymous feedback survey.
