Hi @pawel

Yes, this is possible!

Our Slido Quizzes are designed to be presented live and by default will present the result for each question on a PowerPoint slide.
You can do this by adding the questions one by one.

Let me know if you have any questions, I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.

Hello,

is it possible to present the quiz results for each question in real time on a power point presentation?

Hi is it possible to add real time slido quiz into PowerPoint without installing the integration? Thanks

Hi @GQ_Jay,

In PowerPoint, you can only create one quiz question at a time, but they all add up into one quiz poll.

When you’re creating a quiz in PowerPoint, you need to add all questions one by one and they all have a separate slide. But this doesn’t mean they are all separate polls. When you open your event from www.slido.com, you will see that all questions were added into one quiz poll.

So to create a quiz poll in PowerPoint, simply add all of your quiz questions one by one and you’re good to go! :)

Hope this helps! I can see how this would be confusing and I will pass it on as feedback. Let me know if you need anything else.

Hello,

I use Slido directly from PowePoint so that I don’t have to exit my presentation while presenting. In the past, I’ve been able to create a multiple choice quiz right in PowerPoint but when I try to now, it only allows me to create a one question quiz. Once I go to Slido website I can create a multiple question quiz but I’d have to leave my presentation to do so. What happened? How was I able to do so in the past and not anymore?

Hi there, I’m on the basic plan and have successfully added three polls to my powerpoint presentation. I am running a number of different sessions using the same presentation (and polls) over two weeks, but notice that there is a time limit of one week per event. Please can you advise on how I can run these sessions? The basic plan says there are unlimited events so am hoping this is possible.

Thanks for your advice.

Hey @djh ,

With the Basic Plan, the default event dates is set to 7 days. You can adjust the date of the event to run longer in 7 day increments. This is a feature limitation on the free plan. Our Annual Plans allow for events to be active for up to a year.

I would suggest changing the active dates of the event after each session to allow it to reflect the next sessions dates.

Hi there,

If I integrate Slido into PowerPoint with my paid subscription but I will need my team member to use his/her laptop to present,

  1. Must the person install the Slido Plugin to their PowerPoint?
  2. Must the person have a purchased seat/subscription (or can they just have guest access)?

Thank you.

Hey @Hasif ,

Thats correct, your team member will need to download the Powerpoint add-in to their computer (you need this on whichever device you create and use Slido on). They do not need a paid seat on your license, you can send them Guest invitation to access the event to help create and run it.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

Best,

I first prepared the Slido on slido.com and thought I could pick it up within PowerPoint, but it doesn’t appear. I find myself self scrolling for the correct one, but I only see my colleagues’

Hi @ulf

You definitely should be able to use a Slido in PowerPoint that you created at slido.com. If you see your colleague’s Slidos in the sidebar, it probably has something to do with your access and role. If you could please chat in with our support team or reach out to support@slido.com, they’ll be able to look at your specific account and see what’s going on.

I am using Slido integrated into my PowerPoint slides in an educational setting and primarily for presenting multiple choice questions.  My multiple choice questions typically have four answer choices: A, B, C, or D.  When the class results are revealed, the multiple choice responses have been reordered by most popular selection by the class.  Is there any way to have the results of the poll to be displayed in the order that they appeared initially in the question.  In other words, I want the results to be displayed in A, B, C, D order and not reshuffled so that the most popular selection appears first.  Thanks.

Hello @MJD

you can fix the order of poll options for a specific event if you open settings in Powerpoint sidebar and then you would open advanced settings of your event. Another way of accessing this is going to slido.com website and after you would open your event you can open the settings from there as well.

Inside of these settings you can enable option called fixed order of poll options. I am also sending a screenshot attached.

I have created a poll in ppt and have added a background graphics, changed the typeface etc.

When switching to presenter mode,

  1. my customization does not show - only the standard white slido look appears
  2. the question and graph is not corretcly scaled, i.e. it is wider than the screen. text and graphics run off the right side of the screen.

Am I doing sth wrong or is this a slido error?

Hi I gave access to my PPT and Slido to another user with a slido account. However, she is unable to insert the slido poll created in her slido account. How can we access her slido polls and incorporate it in the PPT.

Hello @Mona A as there can be multiple factors would it be possible to approach support@slido.com with some screenshots as well? They will be able to assist quicker.

Hey@Gerdf,

Sorry to hear the integration is behaving strangely!

How did you set up the customization? Could you share some screenshots of what you see?

This sometimes happens if you have the Display Settings in PowerPoint set up to "Optimize for best appearance". Try the steps below and let me know if it helped:

  1. Go to File > Options > General > User Interface options

  2. Set it to Optimize for compatibility

Let me know if anything’s unclear :)
