Change your personal privacy settings

If you wish to control what kind of cookies Slido can use, you can change it in your profile Privacy Settings. You cannot opt out from required cookies, as they are necessary for basic functions. Without them, you wouldn't be able to use Slido at all. If you wish, you can opt out from analytical and advertising cookies. These are used in order for us to better understand how you use Slido and improve the product based on your experience. Change your password

You can change your current password in My profile section. This option is not available if you created your account with Gmail or SSO, as you're using your email's password to log in to Slido. To change your password, go to your email account settings. To change your current password:Navigate to the right upper corner of your Slido admin Click the circle with your initials and open the Profile menu Select your account name Click Change password Changing your password will sign you out of your devices. You'll need to enter the new password when you sign back in.

Update your account name and email address

If your email address changes or for any reason you have to create a new one, you can easily update both the account name and email in your profile menu. If your account is linked to Gmail or SSO, you can't change your email address via Slido. Contact us at support@slido.com if you need any help and we’ll take it from there. To update your account name and email: Click the icon with your initials in the top-right corner Select ‘Edit’ right next to your account name Update your information and click ‘Save’We will send you a verification email to your new email address. Remember to confirm it. Updating account name or email Alternatively, if you’re a license owner with at least 2 users, you can also transfer your license to somebody else. Curious about more?

Export your list of joined participants

If you wish to export the list of participants who joined your event, you can do so in the Analytics tab. This is especially useful if you require your audience to enter their name and/or email address when joining the event. Otherwise, the export will display Anonymous values. The list includes every person who joined your event - including those who didn’t interact with it. To get the list of joined participants:Open the Analytics tab Select Export and Download export Choose Joined participants This is what the export looks like: Please note that there is a limit of 5000 joined participants for your event analytics to load and for you to export the list yourself. Use Slido as a guest collaborator

As a guest administrator, you can help an event owner with setting up and running a Slido event. You’re able to create, activate and edit polls, moderate and answer questions, and even access event analytics. To accept the invite, click on the green ‘Go to Slido’ button in the email or open the link. Close the Q&A session

If you don't want to receive any new questions, you can close your Q&A. While your participants won't be able to submit any new questions, you will still be able to work with them and display all the ones which have already been submitted. The option to close Q&A is available in all plans.To close the Q&A:Go to the Settings cog on the top right Navigate to Features and select Audience Q&A toggle on the option to Close questions When you return to the Audience Q&A tab, it will say Audience Q&A closed When using the multiple rooms feature, the same applies. Run a Q&A session

Using the Questions feature, attendees can use their devices or computers to send their questions to Slido and easily upvote the best ones. It's a simple way to crowdsource the most popular topics at meetings or events and see what people are genuinely interested in the most. Your participants can ask an unlimited number of questions. Participants can do this anonymously, but you do have the option to set up the event to require names. Test your Slido event

Before your event or meeting starts, we recommend testing Slido. If you purchased a paid plan, don't you worry! Testing your event won't make it expire. You can either test Slido directly from your Admin or use a second device (such as a smartphone) to fully simulate the experience of your participants. Prevent poisonous or inappropriate questions

If you want to make sure that your Q&A will be free of irrelevant questions which miss the topic of your session or spread unreasonable negativity, there are several ways to go about it: Questions moderation Profanity filter Deleting questions Questions moderationModeration allows you to review questions before they appear live for everybody to see. If you receive an inappropriate or poisonous question, you can simply dismiss it. Available in our Professional plan and higher.Learn more about the Q&A moderation in this article. Share announcements with your audience

If you want to share some important information with your audience during a Q&A session, you can use moderator’s announcements. Available in our Professional plan and higher. This feature allows you to push a notification at the top of the Participant mode with a message for everyone to see. We also support links as part of announcements, so feel free to use this feature to share various URLs with your audience. Create and publish an announcementYou can create an announcement by clicking the megaphone button in your Audience Q&A tab. You can choose whether you want to announce it immediately or save it and have it ready for later. If you saved the announcement and wish to activate it, click the megaphone button again and click Announce now. If you don't want to display the message anymore, click the megaphone button and click Stop announcement. Your audience can acknowledge the message by hitting OK. As an admin, you can reply to any question your participants submit via Slido. This way you can answer question in a written form or leave a message to a question that is not relevant for the Q&A. Enable downvotes for your Q&A

Attendees can downvote questions of other participants to express their preference. The downvote will decrease the total score of the question.
