How can you make it so when you are in presenter mode the code for the room is not displayed on the screen. We have a situation where we only want certain people to vote but want everyone to see the questions and voting happening. In presenter mode the QR code and the room number are on the left hand side.
Can different PowerPoint presentations refer to the same Slido event? I am planning to use in class. Sometimes, I’m not 100% sure how much will be covered in a single lecture. If I get to the end of one PowerPoint presentation, and want to start the next, can both of those presentations refer to the same Slido event? I don’t want to have to switch events in the middle of class.Or do I need to set up a new hashtag for each slide deck?
Hi All2 Questions please: I have the Professional subscription.I know I can allow users to select multiple word cloud answers but want to limit user responses to 3. How do I do that? Validation: cannot have 1 person answer 20x while another answers once. How do I request that users add their Name & Surname prior to taking word cloud poll so that I can see who answered the questions and in some cases which answer they selected?
I would like to create a survey which is sent to different locations. Is it possible to create a question like “Which location are you from” and then filter the results based on this question within the report?I would like to see how people from different location answer differently, but also, I don’t want to set up 24 rooms. Thanks!Julia
Hi,I was going to insert a poll into an already existing presentation using the PowerPoint plugin. When I press the button, on the right side of the screen I can’t see all the events I have in my (free) account. I see only one of them.If I do the same steps in a fresh presentation everything works fine and I can see all the events.I tried to copy the working slide from the fresh presentation to the already existing one but it doesn’t work.I tried to log out and in again but not solving the problem.Any idea? Thanks. Stefano
We had a session where we got Q&A and answered what we can. Looking for suggestions/how-to. We plan to have a follow up session. Would you suggest:Start a new Event and if the past questions were important enough, the audience (same audience) can ask them and vote on them from scratch? Use the previous Event and just adjust the Event start and end date to the new planned session? Is that how to use the tool even? Guessing this may mess up stats/metrics that are tracked behind the scenes. Can I as admin, create a new Event and prepopulate questions anonymous? Does this seem like a good idea? I don’t think I can prepopulate votes to try to mimic how popular a question was from a previous Event? Something else?I tried to search the community and failed to find a similar question/article.
At current time, if there is Q&A and Polls enabled, when the Slido panel loads, the Polls tab is displayed as default. I am unable to find any information on how to change it so that Q&A is displayed as default when the page is first loaded. Some assistance would be appreciated!
The Slido green button does not appear in the Home bar for me. I’ve downloaded Slido for Powerpoint three times and installed (and uninstalled, and reinstalled) it three times. I’ve restarted PowerPoint every time. I’m running Microsoft Office Home and Student 2016 (PowerPoint Version 2010, Build 13328.20356). I’d really like to use this tool, but how do I get it to integrate with PowerPoint?
Hello, I’ve recently started using slido and created events prior to purchasing the upgrade to professional, i thought that this would automatically upgrade all future events but it doesn’t appear to be working, when i’ve tried to upgrade them individually I get the prompt to purchase another upgrade, I’ve already purchased an annual upgrade, please can anyone help?
