I have set up a full training course with Slido events. I now want to reproduce each Slido event with the same polls to redeliver the course, but keep the original slidos. I feel that this should be easy, but can’t see how to do it. Any help is appreciated.
There is an option to Duplicate your Slido. This will keep all polls youve put into the original Slido, but start a fresh participant capacity and will not copy over any responses or data from the original copy.

Related question - is it possible to copy individual polls from one slido to another? I am rearranging the order I do things, but have some polls with quite long multiple choice questions and answers - I can create a new poll and copy the text bit by bit, but it would be useful to just copy the whole poll. I’ve not found a way to do this.
We have a Templates feature in our Old Host Mode, and is currently being developed to be implemented into our New Host Mode. This feature allows you to select previously created polls and stores them in a library called “My Polls” to easily input into new Slidos.
Hi Carly, so that explains why I used to be able to go back and “pick” an old poll question from a previous survey and copy paste it to a new survey. What is the ETA on this please, this is a monumental problem for me. Is there a way to revert to the classic slido, I actually really don’t like this new version.
For now you should still be able to switch by going to the question mark symbol in your admin. There’s an option to switch to the old view. Keeping in mind this will only be visible until May 27th.
Hi @Carly from Slido @Christyn from Slido I am trying to create a poll on my google slide where I ask the audience an icebreaker question. I then want to have a few introductory slides transpire, and then want that same exact slide but with the poll results to be displayed on the fifth slide. I cannot figure out how to get the results to appear, as I can only seem to duplicate the slide but that resets any results.
That’s a really great question! At the moment, it’s not possible to call back a poll later in the presentation as each poll is linked to only one slide. As you mentioned, duplicating a slide, will actually duplicate a poll and it will be a unique poll.
The best workaround is to display the results separately by going to slido.com, cueing up the results from there, and sharing your screen or switching views when you want to show them later in your presentation.
I know this isn't the most seamless experience, and I’ve passed your feedback along to our Product team. Thanks for flagging it!
@Adrian from Slido Thank you, Adrian. Is there a way that I can have participants come in and scan the welcome QR code to join and then take all of the questions right then and there? I can only seem to get it set up where questions will appear on mobile devices when I get to that slide. When I am on the first slide to join, my phone says there are no active polls.
Sounds like an interesting set up, you can have your participants join via QR Code but to show the polls all at once, you will need to use our Survey feature and then you can show the live results of each poll question one by one.
As you can only activate one poll at a time, you can activate one poll as an example so you’re participants can vote or add their answer to the poll when they enter. These are great when you have an icebreaker question.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have anymore questions!
My best, Mikaella from slido

Hi Carly. Perfect, thanks - got this now.
