Can't get Google Slides integration to work

I’ve tried to install the add-in several times and all I can get is an error message. Any ideas?

How do I remove Slido from Google Slides after uninstalling the extention?

I uninstalled the extention but it still shows up on my menu bar.

Can I attach the same Slido questionnaire to 2 different Google presentations

Hi All, A few months ago I created a Slido for a Google presentation. I would like to create a new presentation and reuse the same Slido because all the questions are the same. It doesn’t seem to work. Is it expected or did I miss something? Thx a lot -Philippe

Slido not working in Google Slide Macbook

Hi there, Usually I am using SLIDO for google slides in my windows laptop and it runs smoothly. Now I am using Macbook but SLIDO side bar still blank, although I have refresh it and waiting for minutes. I have tried to install SLIDO Integration but it also failed. How can I solve this? Thank you

Long loading times

Hi! We’re using Slido in Google Slides but in the recent months the loading time is way too long. Are we the only ones dealing with this issue? When we use the integrated extension it takes forever and a day until it is ready to insert something. Any ideas why that is?

Adding Slido to a Google Slide Show with PPTX extension not owned by me using my paid Slido account

I have access to an existing slide show created in PPTX and uploaded to Google Slides. I do not believe it has been converted to native Google Slides. I am not the PPTX or Google Slide Show version owner. I have been asked to add a word cloud or poll to one of the slides. I am an editor on the slide show and I have a paid Slido account but I cannot get the Slido extension to show on the slide show even though I am logged in. How can I use my paid account with an existing slide show not owned by me? Earlier this week I had to create my own Google Slide Show, copy all of the slides over, and then I could use Slido with the presentation. Surely there is an easier way?

Present w/ Slido doesn't trigger my polls. I just get the placeholder slide

I have done the following troubleshooting: logged out and back into the integration started and stopped interactions logged out and back into google slides The screenshot below is all I get when presenting with Slido. When I go to use the browser everything works fine. Can you help?

Auto-loop playing Slido (or Google Slides)

I'm trying to set up a public screen at our event to show live results from multiple quizzes. Since I won't be manually advancing the slides, I need to find a way to make the presentation auto-advance. For example, I want to display live results and leaderboards for Quizzes A, B, and C. They are under the same session. Each quiz has three questions. I'd like to show the live results and leaderboard after each quiz. I want the slides to auto-play and loop until the event ends. I've tried using Slido's Google Slides integration, but it's not working as expected. It keeps going back and forth between the 'Join the quiz' screen and the first question of Quiz A. The Slido player doesn't seem to have an autoplay or loop feature. I have to manually start the presentation over each time. Is there a way to fix this?

Hide answers on Leaderboard

Hi there, we are using the Quiz function at an event, we have split the quiz into 3 sections so there are 3 questions across 3 different decks. On the leaderboard at the end of each section it’s showing all of the answers- even for the questions not asked yet. Is there a way to hide the ‘show answers’ option of the leaderboard? (highlighted in yellow below) Thank you!

Blurry Slides using "Present with Slido" in Google Slides, Safari

Dear community, The slides are blurry when using "Present with Slido" in Google Slides on Safari. This does not impact slides generated by slido. Thus, I suppose the problem is not connected to Safari browser. Any ideas how to resolve this? Thank you 🙏

Slido event not running during presentation

I am doing a presentation with Google slides. The slido slides are embeded into the presententation. I click present with slido , but during the presentation, only the join slide comes up every time a slido interaction should appear. As a participant, I get the message that there is no live interaction at the moment

Present Mode Not Working

Hi there! I have the chrome extension, I am logged in, but I do not have an option for Present with Slido. My green bar on the right only says Present. The drop down from Present says Present from beginning or Present from current slide. No matter which option I choose the QR code and link never appear. When I run the presentation the slido google slide has my poll question and at the bottom it says click present with slido or install our chrome extension to activate this poll while presenting.

Cannot update my existing google slides/Slido presentation with an additional question.

I have created a Slido quiz in a google slides presentation. It has six questions. I constructed the quiz on the Slido site and it appeared to integrate easily into the presentation. Now I am attempting to modify the presentation with some additional questions on the Slido site, but they don’t show up in the presentation. Where am I going wrong?

Slido from tablet (Galaxy Tab)

Hi All, I’m using Samsung Galaxy Tab as my presentation device and trying to run Slido poll. So far I was not able to even start a presentation in a way that would allow to start the Slido session. Is it at all possible to start a presentation (Google Slides) from Android device with Slido? Thanks in advance for support! Cheers, Andrzej

Limited to two questions on google slides.

I have two slides setup with Slido. When I try to add a third slide it says: The poll couldn't be created because the free plan is limited to 3 polls per presentation. But I only have two right now and want to add a third one.

Auto Advance Survey polls in Present Mode (Google Slides integration)

I am trying to set up a public screen in our university’s foyer to display live results of a survey. Since I am not presenting by manually advancing through the survey slides, I need to find a way that the presentation moves on automatically. Using Slido’s Google Slides integration, I can autoplay slides, but since the survey is contained in a single slide, Google’s autoplay controls don’t work. The Slido player seems to have no autoplay function, just manual advance by clicking. Any way to solve this issue? Thanks so much!

I use Slido with Google slides and it used to auto generate the event code on each slide. Is there a setting for that?
