Question

Does the Engage package Audience Q&A allow unlimited duration

Will the Audience Q&A for the engage package allow the Q&A to remain open longer than one week for constant feedback and Q&A?

Hello @JPele21

the Q&A will be accessible also longer than a week in case you share Slido via permanent link. That way your participants would be able to access Slido even after the Slido dates expire.

The Slido access code will expire and no longer work for joining. That means your participants would not be able to find your Slido code in the Slido search.

In case you have any additional questions please let me know.

Once the code expires could new questions be asked or I would I have to regenerate a new Q&A session?  Thank you for the first response.

In case you would use the permanent link then your participants would still be able to access the Q&A and post new questions. In case you would want to close the Q&A session you could do that via this guide.

Once the code expires then you would need to create a new Slido with new Q&A session if you would like your participants to join using the code.

Hi,  @Ondrej from Slido, thanks for replies above. And that is the code expiration length? How or where can I find it?

Hello @MartinUher

Your slido code validation will be based on your slido dates so you will be able to find it by having a look at what you have set for your slido dates. Using a slido code at slido.com outside of its specific slido dates will bring up an error.

Hope this helps!

@Ondrej from Slido Thank you. I have to admit I am confused. I understand I have to set up a time period for slide. But if I share the direct URL (permanent link mentioned above) it will work outside the predefined time period?

Hi @MartinUher!

That is correct, the permalink will still be accessible. This is useful for one-time plans when gathering questions in advance of a meeting.  However, with one-time use plans, you aren’t able to re-use the slido outside of the dates that you set.

If you have an annual plan, you can set longer dates and the permalink will also still work in case you want to re-use the slido.

@Christyn from Slido hi, thank you very much for answers. What does it mean: “you aren’t able to re-use the slido outside of the dates that you set”? People can still post question via permalink indefinitely?

One-time plan is any paid plan in which I choose to pay on monthly basis?

Hi @MartinUher

When we mention that "you aren't able to re-use the Slido outside of the dates that you set," it means that the live interaction features (like live polling, Q&A, or quizzes) are only active during the event dates you specify when setting up your slido session. However, outside of those dates, your participants can still interact with the permanent link.

Regarding your second question: At the moment we don't offer a monthly option. We offer One-time plans for a single event for 7 continuous days, or Annual plans for the whole year of slido sessions, so it depends how often you'd like to use Slido.

I hope this helps 😊

Best,
