I purchased the one-time plan, I have about 40 questions to input, I have input 10 of them and it blocks me from putting in any more because it says I have exceeded the limit of I think it said 275 characters.   Am I limited to a total of 275 characters in all my questions? That would kill the usability of the plan and I don't see that as having been disclosed in the pricing, though it may be in the fine print.  Can I increase the number of characters?

Hi @RES, with our paid one-time plans there is not a limit on the number of poll questions you can set up in your slido. However, there is a limit for the length of the poll questions. That limit is 256 characters.

If you’d like to include more text for your participants, I recommend using the poll description section. You can add a poll description by selecting the Poll options in the upper right corner of your poll. Then toggle on “Poll description” and add your text.

Thanks Margot. I have a few more questions:

Where do I turn on the leaderboard?

Also, when I am interacting with participants and after they vote on a question and I want to show them the right answer, sometimes there’s a checkmark at the bottom that I click on and the right answer appears on the participants screen but often the checkmark is not there - how do I get it to always be there?

Also, I purchased the  one-time $60 plan on about December 12, I’ve now input all the questions and I have been testing it by letting my sister and wife take the test as a participant, and have also tried the Present” feature. I will be conducting the multiple choice poll t an audience of 50 people on December 27 and 28. I understand there’s some kind of 7 day limit on the poll but I’m not sure when the 7 day limit starts and ends. Just because I’m testing it with a couple of participants around December 17-19 that doesn’t mean I can’t to the audience on December 27-28 does it?

    Thanks.

Hi @RES, if you are using our Quiz feature, then please see this article for instructions on activating your leaderboard.

In terms of displaying the correct answer to multiple choice questions, the steps you take may differ depending on how you’re using Slido. Are you using Slido standalone, in Present Mode or in a Powerpoint integration? Any screenshots you can share would be a big help.

As you mentioned, our one-time plans are limited to 7 continuous days in length. We recommend setting up your slido dates so that they cover the dates of your live event (December 27 and 28). You can test your slido out anytime between now and then and can even access your analytics after your event ends. The slido dates don’t restrict you from testing out your slido. Don’t forget to reset your polls after you finish testing!
