Dear All,

 

I have been using Slido for few years without any issue. Recently I am facing a problem launching Slido from PowerPoint, Slido is not launching till the Norton Antivirus Firewall is disabled which is risky especially when conducting a full day training workshop, please advise in this regard.

can you please record logs for us? Here is a guide showing how to get these logs for our support team. 

Once you have them please send it via e-mail to support@slido.com together with the screenshot of your sidebar. They will be able to provide you with next steps.

The video guide is not clear. When I click on Slido, it opens PowerPoint.

Contacted Norton and got it resolved.

 

Here are the steps:

 

  • Open Norton
  • Open “Device Security”
  • Click “Setting”
  • Click “Antivirus”
  • Click “Firewall”
  • “Select “Program Control”
  • Search for “Slido”
  • Select “Allow” for all (“CefSharp>BrowserSubprocess” and “Slido for Windows”)
