Maintaining compliance with industry standards is essential. For your organization, regulations are of the utmost importance.

Logging user authentication and access events is a crucial component of many compliance standards, including GDPR, HIPAA or SOC2. By generating logs from your IdP, you can gain greater visibility into user activities, enabling  you to meet compliance objectives.

To meet your organization's requirements, Slido Enterprise offers a valuable feature that we would like to highlight.
You can utilize your Identity Data Provider (IdP) to generate detailed logs when you have Single Sign-On (SSO) set up for your account.

To generate logs from an Identity Provider (IdP) provider, you'll need to configure logging settings within the IdPs configuration or through integration with a log management or analytics platform.

The specific steps and options may vary depending on the IdP provider you're using (e.g. OneLogin, Okta, Microsoft Enra ID (formerly Microsoft Azure), Auth0), so you should refer to the documentation provided by your IdP for detailed instructions.

In general, most IdP providers allow you to configure your settings to capture and document important events such as:

  • Successful and failed logins
  • User profile updates (Password changes)
  • Account lockouts
