Hi,

If I distribute the Slido Basic installer (exe) to our users, will they be able to auto update the software themselves? 

I noticed the Basic installer installs the program to the user appdata local folder which users have rights to install apps to. I guess my question is based around how does the auto update process work? Does it notify the users to download and install the latest version or does it dynamically update the program to the latest version like say how Zoom or Google Chrome do.

I have seen there is an admin installer which I can deploy and then manage the updates going forward, I am just trying to work out the most efficient update process for this app in our environment.

if your users will install Slido from that .exe file then it will ask them to update directly in Powerpoint integration if there is a new update. 

I would advice sharing maybe this link: https://www.slido.com/powerpoint-polling where they can always find the latest version to install in case someone would decide to run your .exe after a few months. It could then be outdated file already.
