Slido in Powerpoint insists presentation is linked to other account

Dear Community,

I am trying to create a poll in a Powerpoint presentation for work, but there is an exclamation mark by the Slido logo and it says that the presentation is linked to another account. This seems to be a Microsoft ac.uk account I have with a university (where I sit on a committee), but that is not my primary place of work. I am trying to log into Slido with my .ac.uk account so I can log out of it, but it won’t accept my password. I click on ‘forgot password’ but no reset link arrives ( I am checking my spam folder in my Microsoft email account).

The Powerpoint is provided for me by my employer on a work laptop, and I can log in and out of Slido at slido.com no problem with my work email (Google), but I cannot shift this association with the Microsoft account or log out of it. Any ideas, please?

Thanks,

Penny.

Hey @PennyRSPCA ,

Could you please write in to our support team to help resolve this at support@slido.com. Please share any screenshots of the slido sidebar so we can see which slido is linked to the presentation.

You cannot unlink a Slido from a different account from a Powerpoint Presentation. If someone shared the Powerpoint with you and their account added the Slido to the presentation, they would need to grant you co-host access for you to see and use the Polls within the presentation.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Best,
