Every three months, Slido admins and license owners receive a Quarterly Insights Report (QIR). These reports are designed to help you understand how Slido is being used across your organization by both hosts and participants. They also highlight feature usage and spotlight the most engaging slido of the quarter.
Quarterly Insights Reports are a valuable tool for showing the impact of Slido within your organization, and supporting a culture of effective, engaging meetings.
This guide highlights what’s included in your QIR, and provides actionable tips and best practices for getting the most out of your insights.
What insights are included in a QIR?
See each specific section below and learn what’s all included in a Quarterly Insights Report. Plus, learn tips for how best to leverage each insight.
Participants
This section shows how many attendees joined slidos hosted by your organization. Comparing this number from quarter to quarter can reveal trends, though it’s worth keeping in mind that usage may fluctuate seasonally. For example, Q3 often sees fewer events due to summer holidays.
💡 Try comparing your quarterly participant numbers to your total employee count. This can help demonstrate the reach of your engagement efforts.
Hosts
Here you’ll find the number of colleagues who organized interactive meetings using Slido.
💡 Connect with your most active hosts and invite them to share their experiences or best practices. You might ask them to lead a short internal session, perhaps using our customizable training template to help others get the most out of Slido.
Engaged Participants
This shows the percentage of attendees who actively participated in your Slido sessions.
💡 If more than half of your participants are engaged, you’re on the right track! If you’d like to boost engagement further, check out our Guide to INTENT Meeting Design. It offers a straightforward framework to help hosts make meetings more interactive and impactful.
Poll Votes
Here you’ll see the total number of poll votes collected across all your Slido sessions.
💡 Every poll vote is a valuable insight into what your team thinks, wants or wonders about. Encourage your hosts to use different poll types to suit various goals and meeting formats. This ensures interactions stay fresh and relevant.
Questions
This number represents the total questions submitted during Q&A sessions.
💡 An active Q&A fosters openness and trust, helping leaders connect with their teams. High participation here often correlates with stronger engagement and satisfaction among employees.
Up/Down Votes
This section shows how many upvotes and downvotes your questions received in Q&A.
💡 Up and down voting allows your team to prioritize the most relevant topics. Consider collecting questions and votes ahead of meetings by sharing a joining link or QR code in your calendar invites. This gives everyone a voice and helps you focus on what matters most.
Most Engaging Slido
Here you’ll discover the Slido session with the highest number of interactions (questions, upvotes and poll votes) for the quarter.
💡 Recognize and celebrate the host behind your most engaging Slido. A shoutout in your internal channels or a small token of appreciation can go a long way in motivating your team. It also encourages others to try new ways of creating engagement.

This section provides an overview of all the Slido features your organization has used.
💡 Take note of any features that aren’t being used yet. These could be a great fit for other teams or meeting formats. For ideas, check out our article on who should have a Slido seat and learn how various departments could benefit from better meeting engagement.
