A person wants to have a survey open and active for a week so that people can answer whenever they want. Is this possible? Any experience?

yes this is possible. Just make sure the Slido dates are set to last for one week to make sure your participants can access Slido using the Slido code for joining. 

Then just keep the survey active and don’t deactivate it so they get the chance to vote.

I have one further question on this topic. How can a participant change to the next slide when the SLIDO is kept active?  My SLIDO has 7 questions (open text and multiple choices). If I keep it active, the participant can’t change to the next question, they can answer - but it stays on the same Q.

I assume these 7 questions were created one by one. I would advice creating a survey that would have all 7 questions at once. It would be shown as a survey as we don’t have the option to click to the next question: 


These individual polls can be merged into a survey as well. But please note that surveys are part of our paid plans only:
