Question

Participant limit for Slido Webex organization Member if using created Slidos in Zoom.

If someone logs in to Slido as a Webex organization member and creates links and QR codes to share with participants in Zoom, what is the participant limit? I’ve found that 5,000 people can participate in Webex Slido quizzes, but does that change if using Zoom instead of Webex?

Hi @mlburns2,

Our quiz feature specifically has a hard limit of 5000 participants, so it currently cannot handle more no matter the integration. The other features are a bit more giving, but we would ask you to contact us at support@slido.com. We have to notify our infrastructure team with any events over 5000 participants and an extra cost might be connected as well.

Best,

Lucia

For clarity, the Zoom meeting will host only approximately 150 people. What I need to know is if someone with a Webex organization member account can still use Slido over Zoom with the same 5000 participant limit, or if they will be limited to 100 participants as with the Basic Slido account. I am not a Webex user, so I’m not clear about how Slido works with it vs. Zoom.  Bottom line question: can someone with a Webex organization member Slido account create polls and lauch/use them in a Zoom meeting with 150-200 people? Thanks!

Thank you for providing more context @mlburns2!

Yes, you can use it with the same limit as in Webex over at Zoom :)

When you have the paid Webex license, you get a free Slido license with the 5000 participant limit for free. Then you can use Slido with the same limits with any of our integrations, Zoom including. Meaning this should work without problems for you with the 150-200 people you mentioned.

Hope this helps!

Best,

Lucia
