I use the present mode to display incoming questions to a moderator on a laptop. The laptop serves only as a screen and cannot be operated by the moderator. A team editor selects and highlights the questions during the live broadcast.

When a poll is started, the Present mode on the laptop immediately switches as well, indicating that a poll is in progress.

How can I prevent this? Which parameter can I append to the URL to ensure that questions are still displayed despite an ongoing poll, e.g.:

https://wall.sli.do/event/123456?mode=showpolls
https://wall.sli.do/event/123456?mode=showquestion

Hey @Dirk,

If I understand it correctly, your moderator would only need “read access” to your Audience Q&A.

In this case, if the moderator does not have full access to your Slido host (admin) mode as a co-host, you could:

  1. Either display the host (admin) mode on the moderator’s laptop to see the incoming audience questions
  2. Or, the Slido host (admin) could simply click on the “Show Q&A” button on the Present mode control panel (just as seen here) to make sure that questions are still displayed despite an ongoing poll.

Alternatively, in case you decide to give your moderator a co-host access to your slido, they could perform the second suggestion on their own whenever needed from the Present mode control panel

Let us know if this would help, please.

Best,
