I previously had a paid account registered under the email address of my former employer, but I no longer have access to it. I'm currently using a new email and would like to transfer my paid subscription to this account.
Could you please advise me on the best way to transfer or recover my subscription under my current email address?

If you still have access to the inbox of your former employee,use their owner's email to reset the password and access that Slido account. From there you can change the owner’s email to your own as described here.
