Due to Slido’s compliance with the applicable exports and contracts regulations, we are not able to provide services in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, or the Crimea, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions.

Slido is also currently blocked in Russia and Belarus, read more about why here.
In practice, this means that if you are based in one of the mentioned countries or regions, you can’t use Slido as a service. This affects both Slido hosts as well as people who would like to join Slido as participants.
Slido in China: As of December 2024, Slido usage in mainland China is extremely limited due to local network restrictions beyond our control. See our announcement for more details.
However, some users have had success by following the below guidelines:
- Use a strong and stable internet connection for the laptop with the present view to help ensure the results update in real-time
- Use company networks when presenting Slido to avoid any local network restrictions
- Test your setup beforehand – ideally using the same location and network that you will use when presenting
