I’ve got up to 10 sessions per room in my agenda next week. Can I still assign sessions in each room for admin purposes in the new interface? It would really help my room managers to understand what’s up next.

Hey @Caroline_B ,

The Agenda feature will not be brought into the new interface. You can find a list of what features will or will not be carried over from our Feature Continuity article.

We developed the agenda feature when we were mostly used at conferences. In 2024, Slido is mostly used within companies to help facilitate conversation between leaders and their teams. This means that the agenda feature has very low usage and so we decided against the investment it would need to modernize the technology it’s built on.

We will share your feedback and use case to our team for consideration.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

Best,

Super bummed about this. I use (used, I guess) the assign session option to use 1 slido for a 6-part forum. Now all my 24 + interactions are all jumbled.

Thanks for sharing this feedback @andee.jones , I will share it with the team for consideration.

Let us know if you have any other questions or suggestions.

Best,

Thanks @Carly from Slido  -- What do you recommend? Do I need a unique slido for each day? Or is there another to organize/subdivide the interactions?

Hello @andee.jones

for your particular use case you could still switch back to the old interface:

We will definitely still keep the old interface for December but I don’t have any updates when it will be deprecated. It will most probably be in the beginning of 2025.

Your interactions may be removed from the sessions but you can drag and drop them back as shown in my vidcast here: https://app.vidcast.io/share/b7aceee0-ac73-426b-b23f-434bc1410d53

For the future use-cases like this I could provide you with a workaround using a multiple-rooms feature
If you create let’s say 10 rooms you could have different set of questions in each room. Then you can activate for example room 1 and keep the rest deactivated. Then you would launch only that set of questions. After that you could deactivate room 1 and activate room 2. Your participants wouldn’t notice if you keep just one room enabled.

The only limitation for this is that also Q&A would be separate. So if you deactivate room 1 it would deactivate also the Q&A for that room and it would open a new Q&A for room 2.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

thanks @Ondrej from Slido  -- I’ll give the rooms a try.
