I wanted to check whether it's possible to add external users or guest email addresses to help manage and collaborate on Slido sessions.

At the moment, I'm able to add my colleagues as co-hosts without any issues. However, when I try to add external email addresses, they appear as "guests," and upon receiving the invite, they're prompted to sign in via Webex—without being granted access to manage the session.

Is there a specific license or setting required to allow external guests to co-host or manage Slidos? Any clarification on what’s supported under our current setup would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @Albina Prajapati

Absolutely! You can basically invite anybody to help you manage your slido session as co-host.

However, the difference might be between inviting members of the same license as co-hosts and inviting external users. External co-hosts are listed as Guests within Team management. This is to distinguish them from internal co-hosts who are listed as members.

Please note that shareable links are not available for organizations with member SSO including Webex licenses.

You’ll find all relevant information in our community guide Use co-hosts to collaborate and help manage slidos

I believe and hope this’ll help, but please, reach out to us at support@slido.com in case of any other questions. We’ll be happy to help further from there.

All the best!

I am trying to invite guests but on inviting them, when they try to access the slidos they are prompted to login to Webex and unable to access it.

Sorry to hear about your experience, can I kindly ask you to share the #slido session code or #event code to support@slido.com, so we can investigate this further with you?

Looking forward to your email and working together to resolve this.

My best,
