Slido’s new interface is now available for all users. However for a time, we’re including the option to switch back to the old interface. If for some reason you’d like to switch to using old Slido, you can do so via the help widget in the bottom left corner.

Here you’ll see the option to Switch to old Slido.

How to switch to old Slido

Keep in mind that you will eventually be permanently switched to the new interface. However, we’ll give you plenty of notice.

Hi there,

Our team needs to do some future planning and would like a guide on how long the old interface will be available?

There are a few new features we are working through but with upcoming events need assurance that the old interface will be available.

Thanks

I can’t seem to switch back to the old interface on the mobile version of the site (or the PWA version); is there a solution for this?

Hello @sebawild

the mobile interface has been changed longer time ago. Switch to old host mode is currently possible only in the desktop version of Slido.

In case someone else has this question, switching to the desktop view, there changing to old Slido, then back to mobile does work to bring the mobile version of old Slido back.  (Just on Brave I couldn’t convince the page to load the desktop page despite the checkbox; Firefox did though).

As paying Slido customer for years, I’m annoyed how the new interface is forced upon us while it doesn’t yet support Sessions within a Slido to group prepared polls.  I hope we will see a solution for this.

Hello @sebawild

thanks for sharing that. I have just tested it and I also wasn’t aware of the fact that it would also bring the mobile version to old Slido interface. I apologise for my misleading information in my previous comment.

As for the sessions it is now part of the features that are permanently leaving. You can find full list of these features here.

However I will still pass your feedback to our team.

That list only shows “Agenda/Session” as to-be-retired.
What I mean by “sessions” is the way to group polls, see screenshow below.  Can you clarify what the plans for that are?
