Slido is gradually rolling out a new user interface. If the below steps and visuals match what you are seeing within your account, then you are using the old interface and this article is for you. If not, please see this version.
If you have external resources you wish to share with your participants, just add them to your Slido event as external links. Your audience will then be able to access them directly from the Participant mode. This can be especially useful if you need to share presentations or event agenda.

Add your external links
You can add your external links to your Slido event directly from your event settings.
- Open Event Settings
- Go to the Customization tab and click on Participant mode
- Notice that the External links option is already enabled
- Click + ADD A NEW LINK
- Decide what you’d like the Displayed text to be and then add the URL link below
- Select Add and then hit Save when you’re added all the links you need
By toggling the external links feature on and off, you can display your links only during a specific moment of your event.
Participant experience
Your audience can access the added links simply by opening the participant menu on their devices. The links will open for them in a new browser tab. You can always test this out by opening up the participant mode widget from your event’s admin page.
Pro tip: Add your feedback survey as an External link
If you wish to collect feedback from your audience without keeping the feedback survey active throughout, you can simply include it as an external link. Your audience can then access it at any time and you can continue using other Slido features.
This way, you can essentially keep multiple single polls or surveys active during your event. They will open directly in Slido (not in a new tab).
