As we kick off 2025, let’s reflect on major product improvements from last year that set the stage for exciting new features we’ll bring to you in the upcoming weeks. As always, we also have this month's fresh updates for you.
🎉 Celebrating 2024 milestones
2024 was an amazing year! We rolled out your most-requested feature, left no stone unturned to improve your Slido experience and introduced a smart functionality that provides tailored suggestions and valuable insights. Here's a look back on last year’s product highlights.
📥 Slido Integration with PowerPoint for macOS
Our most requested feature ever, the integration with PowerPoint for macOS, allows everyone to seamlessly engage their audience during meetings and training sessions. Whether you’re a Windows or macOS user, you can now seamlessly add Slido polls, quizzes, and Q&A sessions directly into your PowerPoint slides.

🆕 New Slido Host mode
The new Slido Host mode was a big project with a clear goal: to design a more intuitive experience that lets you create slidos faster and more easily.
But that's not all. We've kept the features you love and added new ones. We promise, there's more to come this year.
🤖 AI features in BETA
Last year, we introduced several AI features as BETA versions, and we're excited to announce that they they will soon be generally available!
You can look forward to AI generated polls, quizzes and questions improvements for participants. Stay tuned.

🗓️ New releases in January
Starting strong this year with several fresh improvements—here’s what’s new this month:
🔙 Restore a question in Present mode
Marked a question as answered accidentally or a little too soon in Present mode? It happens to all of us. Now, with just one click, you can easily restore your question to its previous state, whether it was highlighted or not.

🏷️ Bulk label questions
To help you keep everything organized while managing Q&A, you can now save time by adding labels to multiple questions at once. This last bit completes the set of bulk actions for questions you’re familiar with from the previous Slido interface.

💬 Notification for new audience questions
To help you keep track of incoming questions while running or creating polls, a notification will appear in the Interactions list when new audience questions are submitted.

🔠 Categories for suggested polls in PowerPoint and Google Slides
Are you using AI-powered poll suggestions in your PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation? They're now organized into categories, making it easier than ever to choose the right ones for your opening, main content and wrap-up.
After clicking the generate button, poll suggestions will appear under each category.

Finally, as we announced earlier, we retired Slido Switcher on January 15, since there's less need for it now that Slido for PowerPoint is available on macOS.
That's all for our January updates! We hope you're as excited about them as we are! Don't forget to subscribe to our Product News to stay in the loop on all things Slido. 📩
