The new Slido interface is testament to our commitment to a better experience for our hosts and attendees. Our user-centric and innovative design has a sleek and modern look that should enable you to create your Slido’s faster .

Presentations and events are fast-paced, and the way we work has changed in recent years, so engaging your audience has never been more important. Whether you’re running a corporate meeting, webinar, or even a lecture, maintaining your attendees attention is the key to success.

Now, with the introduction of the improved Slido interface, we’ve made it easier for presenters and participants to engage with each other.

What’s New:

​​​​​​​Creating a Slido

The new interface centralizes interaction options, allowing users to add polls, Q&A sessions and quizzes as interactions in fewer clicks. These options are now more visible and easier to access. If that wasn’t easy enough, Slido now auto-saves your interactions whilst you create them, so you don’t have to worry about losing your place!
 

To get started + Create slido from Host mode. You can then choose which one to start with from interaction tiles. To continue to build your slido, just select + add new from the left hand side next to interactions. 
 

Slido Q&A
 

After your feedback, we decided to include Audience Q&A in the interactions list alongside polls, survey and quiz, so everything is in one place. Once you add Q&A as an interaction, the Q&A settings will display on the right hand side of your slido, allowing you to adjust and moderate your session as required.
 

Slido Settings

Multiple layer menus in settings are now a thing of the past! With our new design, key settings are grouped together, providing you with a more intuitive and accessible experience 

Managing Interactions

Slido now includes more customization options and real-time controls, allowing hosts to adapt on the fly, enhancing the audience experience. 

You can now manage your interactions with ease in host mode with a choice between using My interactions on the left or by using the control bar at the bottom of Host mode.

When you’re ready, you can hit Present to share your screen with your participants. 

​​​​​​​Analytics

To find and export Analytics data previously you’d need to navigate through several screens. We’ve removed those extra steps, bringing Analytics to the forefront. With a dedicated section for easier access and streamlined export options, this helps users quickly gather and utilize Slido data.

1. Login to your Slido account 
   Access your slido account as you normally would. 
    
2. Navigate to the top left.
   Next to your name you’ll see a button to Try new Slido
    
3. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​You’re all set! 
    

What’s Next?

As we gradually roll out, expect to see changes as listed in our feature continuity article. Look out for changes to features such as poll settings and labelling of your Q&A questions. it also lists features that won’t be returning.
