So, it seems I'm one of the small group that use slido switcher. I run a production system and use switcher to overlay Q&A, Polls etc,over powerpoint. The best thing about it is that I can overlay it at any time when required. It’s not associated with any ppr slide, so is this functionality available with any of your alternatives offered? I admit I haven't had time to read all the pages of Slido information, but I don't want to add any plugins to my system unless I understand the interaction with my existing system. Can you pls advise what path is best to take?

I run an event machine that runs the TEAMS event; I run a second Laptop that hosts the ppt, and is shared into both Teams and also into a production box. Any switching from ppt to Slido needs to be done on another screen that is not being shared.

 

Also, the switcher app now has a message re switchers retirement, but the button I use to turn on and off the switcher overlay is no longer there !!

thank you for reaching out to us. I can understand that the tool was very important for your use-case. 

The way how Powerpoint integration works is that in case you have a Powerpoint Presentation slides you can add in between them a Slido interaction that would have its own holding Slide. This Slide wouldn’t be visible when presenting. It would launch Slido once you get to the holding slide and instead of showing that holding slide it would launch Slido. 

I hope this would work for your use-case as well. When it comes to the Switcher button I checked mine and I was able to see the button. Would it be possible for you to share a screenshot of how it looks like on your end?
