Issues with Slido for PowerPoint. The presentations suddenly stopped opening

My presentations with Slido are suddenly having problems. They open but when launched, Powerpoint closes again. Up until yesterday, everything was working fine. Then today, nothing. I get a txt file called debug log in the folder where the presentation is located. When I open it, this message appears: [0911/163749.606:WARNING:main_runner.cc(261)] Alloy bootstrap is deprecated and will be removed in ~M127. See https://github.com/chromiumembedded/cef/issues/3685

When the PPT presentation fails to launch, I am asked if I want to open PPT in safe mode.

Has anyone else encountered this problem, and what might be an adequate solution?

Hello @Liliane

I had a look and in this case I can see that the Kernelbase.dll library is being crashed or stopped- we have come across such cases before in our newest app version (1.12) and our team is looking into a fix.

In the meantime, could you please uninstall Slido and revert back the previous version (1.11) which can be found here

Please let me know if you have any questions, I'm happy to help.
