Setting up Participant login via Okta SSO

I am attempting to configure participant SSO via Okta. I already have Member SSO in place however, the documentation is suggesting that in order for participants to log in and ask questions they must use the separate integration.  There is no pre-built Okta integration for Participants so I’d like to know what I need to enter for the following:  Single sign-on URL  Audience URI (SP Entity ID) Secondary to the above question, is there an option to leverage the existing IDP connection used for Members to allow participant login?

Follow up question

Hi, is it possible to link the next question with the answer given to the previous one? For example:Choose your favourite colour: red blue Depending on what the person choses a follow up question appears. For example, if someone chose 1. red, the next question is: 2. Transferiing events from one accout to another

Please can someone help by giving instructions on how you can transfer current events from one Slido account to another? My company has recently purchased a new professional account with Slido whilst we had a shared account with another department that had deferred back to a basic account and I want to avoid having to create the events again in the new account. Is this something that can be done?

Can I collect suggestions AND then proceed to vote?

Hi We’re looking for a tool that will hekp facilitate a workshop in the following phases (or similar):Crowd-source a list of suggestions (or ideas etc) from participants in a free text format (either “Word cloud” or “Open text”), Then progress to a voting stage based on the crowd-sourced entries.So we democratise the ideas (rather than the host/chairperson prescribing them) and then move onto a voting phase.I can kind of see the “Word cloud” doing this, but asking participants to manually type the same words that they see on the board in order to vote for it seems a little long-winded and less intuitive. Any ideas? Thanks,

Hi everyone,Is there an easy way to reset my poll responses or results? I’d like to test my slido out to make sure I understand what I’m doing, but I want to know that I can start fresh again. I’m worried that I’ll have my testing responses there and won’t be able to remove them.  Is this possible?

Structuring multiple speakers and decks for a single event

Our event consists of 2 days with 9 presenters.  It is all in a single room with each presenter bringing their own deck.  What is the best way for me to structure this?  I have a single event lisence.

Hello,Im running a conference that is happening over 6 days with panel discussions happening back to back.Will a single event license be able to cover these requirements?There will be 18 different panels, none of which are happening concurrently.Do advise?Thanks.

Pre-defined list of phrases for the Word cloud poll type

How can I predefine the suggested list of phrases for the Word Cloud poll type?For example, I want to ask the audience to tell me the names of brands they use to gather logs.And I already provided them a short list of most popular ones like:ElasticSearch, Grafana Loki, StatsD, Datadog, New Relic.So, via the poll I want the audience to not only choose brands that they use now, but also type new brands that are not listed yet.So the “Multiple Choice” poll type doesn’t suit because they can’t add new options there.The “Word Cloud” poll suite more, but I can’t predefine the list of suggested options, so people will type something like “Elastic” + “ElasticSearch” + “Elastic Search” + “Elastic Stack” + “ELK” and we will got a lot of duplicates. So, could you please extend the “Word Cloud” poll configuration to allow adding predefined suggested options, with keeping the ability to add new custom strings?

Outside A/V Team

I am looking for recommendations on the best way to present a PowerPoint deck with some Slido polls intermixed throughout the presentation by an outside A/V person.  I have created these with the Slido powerpoint plugin.  It works great when I present it on my device.  Although, for the speaking event, the presentation must be displayed on a device owned by the events company.  What is the recommended method for this situation?

Slido dates

Hi,I’m using Slido for LightSpeed Council meetings which occur every two months.My slido for LightSpeed Council meetings has end date 30-June-2023. This date already extended but I need to keep extending it since I don't have end date for those meetings.My questions are:Can I extend the slido to additional year even if its already being extended in the past? If I will extend it, is it going to impact the analytics report ? Am I going to lose some historical data? Is there  an option not to define due date for the event?Thanks,Keren
