Green Slido button in PPT no longer appears

I have a preexisting Slido, and polling slides inserted into a PowerPoint deck. I went away for a week and now the green icon no longer appears and my work appears “dead.” I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, all to no avail. Help?

When I install the prior version, it works, but it thinks I am using a Free version and won’t allow adding more slides

Our PowerPoint add-in is free and can be used with any of our plans.  If your account is on the free Basic plan, there is a limit of three interactions per slido—thus, per presentation.  You’re welcome to contact our support team if you could use any additional assistance!

If anyone else runs into this issue again, please make sure you’ve downloaded the latest Slido for PowerPoint version (get it here). And if you still have problems with the button not displaying, double-check that you’re not also running the bluebeam add-in. That particular add-in is known to interfere with ours and you may need to disable it.
