Community Q&A

Are Slido questions truly anonymous if they post anonymously? We have someone who keeps asking odd questions and would like to address them one to one.

With a Engage one-time plan, can I create multiple slidos which will be used for the same event and dates?

Is it possible to run 2 sessions of the same One-time engage plan in parallel (same event, same date)?

Hi Slido Community,We are currently packaging Slido for Windows for enterprise deployment using PSAppDeployToolkit (PSADT) and SCCM. Our requirement is to create an uninstall package that completely removes all installed versions of Slido, regardless of which version is installed. We have identified multiple Slido versions in our environment, including 1.10.0 through 1.23.0, with different MSI Product Codes.RequirementThe uninstall package should:Remove all installed versions of Slido for Windows. Remove Slido from Programs and Features / Add or Remove Programs. Remove the Slido PowerPoint Add-in completely. Handle installations regardless of whether Slido is installed under: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86) %LOCALAPPDATA% Other user-specific installation locations. Work without hardcoding individual Product Codes, if possible. Ideally identify the application based on the ARP/DisplayName "Slido for Windows" and uninstall all matching MSI installations. Run silently with no u

Does a conference attendee have to have slido app open in order to receive announcements?

How as the host can I be the only one getting the anonymous questions

Can you show a picture then ask the audience to guess who/or what - then after the vote - reveal the picture answer?

We have a large audience, we want to do an interactive quiz but we want to set up teams by tables - can we do this?

@Slido Team I would like to cancel my Slido Professional annual subscription and receive a full refund under the 30-day Money Back Guarantee. I purchased the Professional plan approximately one week ago, so my request is well within the 30-day cancellation period.I have already reached out to the Slido Support team regarding my cancellation. Unfortunately, I am not satisfied with the features and overall functionality of the Professional plan, as it did not meet my expectations or the needs for which I purchased it.I am hoping the Slido team can assist with my cancellation and refund.

Dear Slido Team,I would like to cancel my Professional subscription and request a full refund in accordance with your 30-day money-back guarantee.I couldn’t find any cancellation option in my account settings. Please let me know if you need any further information from my side.Thank you in advance! Best regards!

Hi,I am about to launch a slido. When testing, it is sometimes asking an access code (into a pop up, access code sent by an e.mail). I would like to desable this:  please can you help how to proceed?

How do I withdraw from my recent Slido purchase?

Hello Slido Support Team,I would like to cancel my annual Slido subscription and request a full refund under your 30-day money-back guarantee.I recently purchased the annual plan, but I realized that it does not fit my current needs. Since my purchase is still within the 30-day refund period, I would appreciate it if you could cancel my annual subscription and process a full refund.Thank you for your assistance.

Hi,I would like to use a rating poll where participants select a value on a scale from 1 to 7.After everyone has voted, I want to reveal only one overall result: the average of all submitted ratings (for example, 5.4 out of 7). I do not want participants to see the distribution of responses, the number of votes for each rating, or any individual responses. Can Slido be configured to display only this single average value in Present mode? If so, which settings should I use?Thank you!

Hello, we are hosting a conference that has got two sessions running at the same time. How do we create separate Q&As/polls for both sessions? Is this possible? Thanks!

I have a question regarding Slido licensing and Zoom integration. Our organization has access to Slido through our Webex subscription. I am planning to host a Zoom meeting with approximately 800 attendees and would like to use Slido for live polling, surveys, and audience Q&A during the session. Can you please confirm:Can I use my existing Slido account obtained through Webex with Zoom? Is a separate Slido license required for Zoom integration? Are there any attendee limits, polling limits, or feature restrictions for a Zoom meeting with around 800 participants? Are there any setup steps or requirements I should be aware of before the event?Thank you for your assistance.

Dear Slido Team,I would like to cancel my PROFESSIONAL subscription and request a full refund in accordance with your 30-day money-back guarantee.I couldn’t find any cancellation option in my account settings and hence reaching out hereThank you in advance! Best regards!Ashish

Hi there! Is it possible, with the free subscription, to allow employees to submit questions to the Q&A without being able to vote on them? Then, could we enable voting for one week while disabling the option to add new questions during that period?

Dear Slido Team,For the IFOS 2026 Istanbul Congress, we are planning to use Slido for a voting session. There will be approximately 200 people in the room; however, only around 80 selected participants should be able to vote. Our plan is to allow these 80 participants to scan a QR code and access the voting, while the remaining attendees in the room should not be able to participate.Would our planned setup support this? If so, could you please advise us on how this can be implemented through Slido? In particular, we would like to know if it is possible to restrict voting access to a specific group of participants, rather than allowing everyone in the room who scans the QR code to vote.We would appreciate your guidance on the most suitable setup for this use case.We would appreciate your urgent response, as we need to finalize the setup as soon as possible.Best regards,

i have upgraded my plan (one-time Engage plan) and have been charged . Yet each time I try to use the ”paid” features. I am being asked to pay again

I’m exploring word cloud options for a conference activity. I like most of the functionality here but an important step for this activity is collecting a list of responses outside of the word cloud display itself. Am I missing it, or is there no option beyond going to Review Answers and copy/pasting the list that is there? Ideally I would like to be able to export as a sheet with answers in one column and quantity in another, very simple.

Hi I am Barbara M and would like to cancel my basic plan. thank you.Barbara

I’m using Slideo to build a game for a live show. It will mostly be run by running a quiz that will track scores as we go. Once I’ve started the quiz, is it possible to run a different kind of poll and then return to the quiz with the scores retained?Quiz Question 1 - Multiple choice, answers scoredQuiz Question 2 - Multiple choice, answers scoredHow do you think you’re doing so far - Rating out 1-10, unscoredQuiz Question 3 - Multiple choice, continue scores from first two questions.

Dear Slido Team,I would like to cancel my ENGAGE subscription (purchased 21 Aug 2026, valid until 22 Aug 2027) and request a full refund in accordance with your 30-day Money Back Guarantee. Invoice number: 260838896.There is no cancellation or refund option anywhere in the account settings, so today I submitted the Contact us form and also opened a ticket via the AI chat on the contact page. I have not received a confirmation email yet.I am posting here as well because I have seen the Commerce team pick up refund requests from this forum. Could you please send the refund link to the license owner email on file for this invoice?Reason: after testing Engage in our actual classes, the plan is missing features that are critical to how we run our sessions, so it does not fit our needs. We did like how quick and frictionless Slido is for participants.Thank you in advance!

I have changed the Participany Privacy to “Always require name” but it is not forcing participants to add a name and is still allowing for anonymous posts. Can anyone tell me how to fix that?
