Dedicated period of time for adding questions and them voting

Hi there! Is it possible, with the free subscription, to allow employees to submit questions to the Q&A without being able to vote on them?

Then, could we enable voting for one week while disabling the option to add new questions during that period?

Hi @MarinaFP

It is currently not possible to just close voting without closing the Q&A. So you would need to close Q&A to close the voting as well. Closing the voting is also only available from the Professional plan higher.

The second case you mentioned of allowing the voting but not new submissions is possible, but only from the Professional plan higher.

I can offer you a workaround, but this would be using a different feature rather than Q&A.

You could use the open text poll - you could title the poll as “Submit your questions here” and make this function as the Q&A. Open text poll also has an option to use emojis, which you can turn off for the first part when you only want to collect the questions, and then turn on for the second. It is also possible to lock the voting to stop new submissions from coming in.

Hope this helps!
