Closest to set answer wins?

I am looking for a way to use an open text poll that rates answers based on their proximity to the actual number. Example: The question is about what annual revenue is for a company. Participants drop an answer into an open text box. Then answers are ranked by closeness to the actual number.

Our Open text poll doesn't offer such a possibility. However, I’d suggest the following: 

  • Using our Multiple choice poll in which your participants could choose the correct answer out of many different options, 
  • Or using our Ranking poll, in which you could come up with different (approximate) values, and your participants would rank them according to proximity to the actual number.
