Restricting Quiz responses to a single option

We have a quiz question (has to be a quiz, not a multiple choice) that allows for multiple correct responses. Is there a way to restrict students to selecting only one option? If they choose more than 1, their score can exceed the maximum, and I have to fix by hand.

Hi ​@Rickheyman, if you have a quiz question that allows for multiple correct responses, then your quiz participants will have the option to select multiple responses. If you mark only one response as correct in the quiz question, then the participants will only have the option to select one response. It’s not possible to have multiple correct responses but restrict your participants to only selecting one response. However, I’d be happy to keep this in mind for future product improvements!

Thanks. I thought I had exhausted all the options.

 

This is another place where Slido’s features for similar functions have gotten out of sync. You CAN restrict multiple choice items to only one selection; instructors should be able to do the same thing for quizzes.
