Hi, we are running a conference soon. We would like to use Slido for the interactive sessions. There will be two sessions running concurrently in different rooms. What would be the approach in this instance?

Create two Slido ‘events’ for each room and then use the multi room feature for the different sessions? Or would another approach work better?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi @E Davies,

Thank you for an interesting question!

You could create 2 slido events and then handle the different sessions with our multiple rooms feature, but you can also handle everything within one slido event just using the multiple rooms feature. The beauty of it is, that multiple rooms can be used also for sessions running at the same time. So it is up to you which setup you prefer.

As a recommendation from me. In case you have the same group of people attending different sessions from both rooms, I would go for 1 slido event as this would all be handled under the same event code, easy to switch between the sessions. However, if you have 2 separate groups of people and each is attending sessions just from one room, 2 slido events might be better to separate this.

I hope this helps, but please let me know if you have any other questions!

Best,

Lucia
