At Slido, our mission is to help you create engaging and productive meetings, events, and interactions. This also includes making our platform as accessible and flexible as possible. Still we sometimes get asked why we don’t offer a monthly pricing option. And it’s a fair question.

There are many thoughtful reasons behind our decision to only offer annual and one-time plans alongside our basic (free) plan. Here’s a look at the key ones:

One-time plans for single-use needs 📅

We understand that not everyone requires Slido long-term. That’s why we provide one-time plans, which are perfect for users who only need Slido for a specific event or meeting. These plans allow you to use Slido for a single session over a 7-day period – providing flexibility without the commitment.

Some of our customers even start with one-time plans to make sure that Slido fits their needs and then move to annual plans to maximize Slido’s value.

Affordable annual and freemium options 💫

Most Slido users get value from Slido through regular use, so we’ve focused on creating affordable annual packages that enable repeat usage. These annual plans offer the best value to our customers by allowing unlimited usage for an entire year.

Also, many users come to Slido with just one use-case in mind. But as they discover other use cases, the value deepens – think using Slido for the first time at a quarterly all-hands meeting, but then also using it for weekly staff meetings and team trainings.

👉 And if we don’t have a paid plan that works for you, our basic plan is completely free with no limits to the amount of times you can use it.

Focus on core product development 🛠

Rather than allocating resources to enable monthly pricing, we’ve chosen to invest in improving the core Slido product. This focus allows us to deliver new features, enhance existing functionalities and ensure a seamless user experience for our whole user base. We believe that prioritizing this type of product development provides greater long-term value to our users.

Final thoughts

While we understand that monthly pricing might be convenient for some, our decision not to offer it is based on a thoughtful evaluation of our priorities. With affordable annual plans and flexible one-time options, we aim to provide solutions that meet the diverse needs of our users while remaining focused on delivering the best possible product.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support 💪
