We’re thrilled to announce that starting November 7, 2024, Slido’s new and improved interface will become the default for all our users. 🚀

We’ve been gradually rolling out Slido’s revamped interface, and now it’s time to bring it to everyone, making it easier than ever to manage your meetings and events.

From November 7, the new interface will be enabled by default. When you open your slido on this day, you’ll see our fresh, user-friendly layout.

New Slido interface

How long can I switch back to the old interface?

We understand that adapting to changes can take a bit of time. That’s why you’ll still be able to switch back to the old interface for a couple of months. Just a heads-up, the old interface will be retired early in 2025, but don’t worry—we’ll give you plenty of notice before that happens.

Will this change affect my data?

Your data will remain untouched. All your collected data will stay safe and sound under your account, regardless of the interface you use.

When will all features be available in the new interface?

Our new Host interface comes with a completely revamped look, focusing on ease of use. While some features are getting stronger, we’ve decided to part ways with some less frequently used and outdated functionality.

Here’s a list of features you can look forward to before the switch on November 7th:

  • Disable Audience Q&A or Polls for your individual Slido
  • Duplicate a poll into a different room
  • Share a direct link or embed code for a specific poll
  • Add a description to your poll
  • Edit host or co-host replies in Q&A
  • Split a survey into individual polls

And we’re not stopping there! Let’s have a look at what’s planned afterwards

  • Bulk actions for Q&A questions (archive, restore or delete questions)
  • Improved ability to test the participant experience
  • Option to search within your Q&A
  • Share announcements with your audience
  • Reuse polls you’ve previously created
  • Ability to moderate Open text poll responses
  • Option for hosts and co-hosts to edit a submitted Q&A question
