We’re updating how some new customers purchase Slido plans. Starting September 14, 2026, a limited group of new US-based customers will complete their purchase through Cisco Store.

This change brings Slido into Cisco’s central purchasing system and provides a more unified way to buy and manage a subscription.

What’s changing?

Customers included in the initial release will automatically be directed to the Cisco Store when they purchase a paid Slido plan for the first time.

The Slido product itself will continue to work in the same way. The main difference is where the purchase is completed and where billing and subscription details are managed.

If you’re an existing Slido customer or aren’t included in this initial release, nothing changes for you. You’ll continue using the existing Slido checkout and your current plan, pricing, billing cycle and payment method will remain unaffected.

How can I tell which purchasing system I use?

Check the company named on your order confirmation or invoice:

  • If your purchase was processed by Cisco Systems, Inc., you purchased through Cisco Store. You’ll manage your subscription and billing information there.
  • If your purchase was processed by Slido s.r.o., you’ll continue using the existing Slido purchasing and billing experience.

Why are we making this change?

As part of Cisco, we’re aligning our purchasing systems with Cisco’s established ecommerce infrastructure.

Cisco Store provides one place for customers to purchase and manage Slido alongside other Cisco products and services.

What are the benefits?

Customers purchasing through Cisco Store will have access to several improvements:

  • A unified subscription dashboard

View and manage your Slido subscription alongside any other Cisco products.

  • Self-service subscription changes

Upgrade your plan or purchase additional member seats during your subscription, with prorated pricing where applicable.

  • Simpler refunds

Request eligible refunds directly through the Cisco Store Manager within the 30 day money-back guarantee period.

  • More control over renewals

Manage your renewal preferences directly from your Cisco Store account (Auto-renewal is available but turned off by default).

What about invoices?

Purchases made through the Cisco Store are processed by Cisco Systems, Inc., so invoices for these orders will be issued by Cisco. Your invoice will be sent by email and will also become available in the Cisco Store.

Purchases made through the existing Slido checkout will continue to be invoiced by Slido s.r.o.

When are things changing?

The limited release begins on September 14, 2026. We’re starting with a small group of new US customers so we can monitor the experience, collect feedback and make improvements before expanding it more widely.

Existing Slido customers aren’t being moved as part of this initial release. We’ll provide clear information and plenty of notice before making any future changes to existing accounts.

We’re excited to take this next step towards a more connected purchasing experience. If you have any questions, please use our Contact form or leave a comment below.
